What a joke. It's the US that must do more, and so should the Afghans, it seems though that they're not up to the task.

The US is lucky only in a few respects though. Firstly it's a superpower, meaning even when it's wrong, it can't be messed with. Secondly, the US public stopped caring about Afghanistan, meaning perpetual war can continue. And as for the information that is and isn't discussed in the US television media about Afghanistan, it keeps their public opinion quite docile and willing to accept that Pakistan 'must do more' etc. Even some state run media could learn some tricks in domestic propaganda from the US' free and fair press.

Pakistani efforts at duping past Administrations have been remarkably successful. But as the general says, it's "not a viable option anymore."

Last I checked, almost half of Afghanistan is under Taliban control or contested, while none of our territory is. We're also building a fence, unilaterally enforcing border control despite many invitations extended from us to the Afghans and the US to do the same and assist.

700 + Fortified Forts to keep an eye on incursions from Afghan side, Fence and Home grown Radar Systems , new check posts and tunnel networks .. FC is been Trained and equipped heavily with modern weapons and Tanks ...I don't see any real effort from Americano's ?
