Paa pn and paf all fly the type all three should have a joint replacement program they will need 50-60 which is substantial number if they go alone then paa need about 30, af 20 and pn about 6-10

But af has already started aw139, pn with z9 and paa still pending

Fennecs are the replacement and it's ongoing, albeit at a slow rate of conversion.

Kazan is in need of customers for the Ansat, not a lot of adoption in Russia (unsurprising as there are some other competing Russian models there too). Would be a shame of a dozen of these are bought without any leverage used for technology transfer, co-production, etc.

Russian Helicopters begins hot climate trials in Pakistan of Ansat helicopter

Russian Helicopters announced on 31 October that it had begun 'hot climate' trials in Pakistan of its Ansat lightweight multirole helicopter.

The Moscow-based helicopter manufacturer, which is part of Russian state holding company Rostec, said in a statement that the trials aim to confirm the possibility of operating the platform in “high air temperatures”.

“At the moment the helicopter has already started test flights,” said the company, pointing out that it plans to expand the platform’s operating parameters to +50° Celsius, meaning that the twin-engine Ansat would be able to operate in temperatures ranging between -45° and +50° Celsius.

A conference is set to take place in Islamabad following the trials, which are set to be completed by mid-November, to enable potential Pakistani customers of the helicopter to view its “competitive advantages and the operational features”, according to the statement.

Honestly dudes I dnt see this bird fitting into our defence requirements.
Pakistan has to entertain these sorts of things (e.g. Ansat, Sukhoi SuperJet airliner, etc) if it intends to access valuable Russian hardware, like the S-400. At the end of the day, the Russians want to help their economy.

Well the purchases are according to our needs , PIA does not needs new planes for short term

S-400 deal and the helicopter segment are two different items , one is for strategic value and helicopters are a day to day general business for Military.

Since Pakistan have already successfully inducted

  • Mi-17/19
  • Mi-35M
  • TOT with Kalashnikov for small arms
  • Pantsir-S2
  • Engines for JF17 Thunder
  • Russian Shoulder fired Missile

The market for Light Transport Helicopter certainly looks very realistic reality
s-400 is special order and when time comes data will be released in press

exactly we need, light weight helicopters, easily the requirement is 50-100 even by conservative estimates, Pakistan hsould get nothing less than complete licence production

we did that previously with mushaq and thunder, look at the result, unfortunately not much effort has been made in helicopter department

No TOT of Kalashnikov is taking place as for now that contract is for civilian market for GOD sake and PANTSIR hasn't arrived yet but can come as Army told about it in exibition
