Pakistan Air Force prepares for arrival of final Block II JF-17 and JF-17B fighter aircraft

For all intents and purposes, no one cares for Pakistan enough for that except for Pakistanis (and some might dispute that too). In terms of complete fighter platforms, we're on our own.
UAE would receive a royalty...

Also, don't you think CM-802AKG land attack missile with 230KM range is more than sufficient for taking out a good amount of Western Air Command bases.

230KM radius drawn on map.

Guidance seems more than precise enough to hit strategic targets inside airbase itself.

:police: Classified stuff ...only Military knows

However, it seems Imran Khan has stated his policy is discussion around Kashmir's solution
September 23rd speech, that is the National Policy as of the current day

JF17 Program is based on F16 Platform ,and that was a prime defensive Fighter Jet

F16 was more of a at home Fighter Jet

Yes, but it has offensive capabilities as cited above. I don't think Block 3 will have Ra'ad and besides Ra'ad only has about 100km more range with less precision guidance than CM-802AKG.

Well hopefully some good news will be released by Pakistan airforce at some point , the radar upgrade it self is a great plus

A possible sale of 50-100 JF17 to friendly nation would be next mile stone for Pakistan hopefully new customers would emerge

Sq. L. Mohammad Hussain's JF-17.
A bird hit, he ejected but the seat didn't work and parachute didn't open.
(Sadly) he embraced shahadat.

If I am not wrong, this is the same crash registered as first ... there is no third incident.

  • It will be close to F16 Block 60 for Pakistan Airforce :coffee:
JF17 Block III, can be refreshed unlimited amount of times all parts / any parts

  • F16 E/F, Block 60 fighters offer a mission radius of 1,025 miles
  • Northrop Grumman’s AN/APG-80 AESA radar
  • Unlike the APG-68s, the APG-80 can perform simultaneous ground and air scan, track, and targeting, and it adds an “agile beam” that reduces the odds of detection by opposing aircraft when the radar is on.
  • A JHMCS helmet-mounted display provides
  • Can't Carry Cruise Missile on UAE variants
  • AIM-9X Block II Sidewinder short-range missiles give them over-the-shoulder kill capability

JF17 Block III Thunders
  • KLJ-7A AESA , china's top Radar AESA enabled
  • Increased Weapon's Load
  • Helmet Targeting System
  • Engine, of course, is a major Upgrade for Block III
  • Improved Weapon's Load
IMO the "Devil" lies in the EW regime!!!! I am pretty sure it's heavily modified and customized for an enhanced performance specific to Indo-Pak geography!!! Pak loves to play with variation and tricks!!! Geography induced geometry is at the crux of the optimized EM solution sets, which only comes with genuine ownership!!! 02-27 has proved a couple of perfect shots at the places of your choice (here, it's the entire Kashmir), and the IAF is gone for the day leaving behind their top commanders at the mercy of Pak.....

In other thread aerodynamics of suspected Block-3 is quite change, especially nose of the jet and block-3 is based on JF-17B as per various senior/professional members on PDF, which clearly have a different nose then standard JF-17 @Keysersoze
it is changed from Block II single seater but not much different From JF17B so most of the testing mustve been done for JF17B
