the fact is indian government needs a diversion badly! pakistanis and PA have too many already on their hand!

How hard is for someone to paint pof over any landmine, as the indian themselves posted the pictures from an internet source, that means indian themselves could have taken any landmine and painted pof over it,.....what a joke man,

Lets analyse the situation of Pakistan's armed forces first. They are fighting a 4th gen war with an enemy that has no face. We have lost 40,000 civilians and military personnels in last 5-7 years to this war and our military bases are being attacked on regular basis. An active insurgency going on in the largest province of the country, A civil war like situation in the financial hub of Pakistan where 2000 people were killed last year. From FATA to KPK to Baluchistan to Karachi, Pakistan army and govt are busy fighting one faction of the Taliban or other. Why the hell would they poak at their mighty neighbours to the east at such a critical time? Makes no sense at all.

If situation as being reported is to believed.

What does not make sense is why Pakistan escalate the matter every confrontation..especially when it is such a critical juncture for it?

India builds a bunker(facing India) to control the moment of people across LOC. Pakistan instead of giving a proportionate response and building a bunker of their own(opposite Indian bunker) starts harassing the position with unprovoked firing.

India neutralizes the bunker which firing on Indian position with supposedly a cross border raid..which kill one soldier.

Pakistan attacks in completely different sector and kills two Indian soldiers and takes a head of one as a trophy.

Indian soldier supposedly dropped a weapon on Pakistani soil..Pakistani soldiers come plant mines on Indian soil.

Now propitiationate Indian response would be..to raid across LOC and take off the heads of some of your soldiers..but we haven't resorted that kind of barbarism.


Pakistani actions are not that one, which is trying to avert conflict instead of the one which is trying to escalate the situation..Doesn't Pakistani army realize that, more the situation escalates , worse it gets for them ..especially when they are fighting a very bloody civil war in their own country.

What if in response to another Pakistani escalation ..India decides to deploy its troops on the border..will Pakistani army also forfeit all its gains on its western border and deploy on East?

What the hell have you been smoking, that you missed such a big development? Indian army has denied the incident since day one ..infact Indian army Chief went on record, that India army never conducted a cross border raid.

How can you blame the PA for laying these mines on the Indian side? Actually, the IA was short of mines and so it sent a commando/spec ops team on a secret mission to Pakistan's Ordnance Factory to make up part of the shortfall. These were then laid on the LoC by IA Engineers and later retrieved (shown in the pics above).

2) We didn't behead anyone if india "feels" we did it should get the UN to do an independant inquiry into the matter

Indian army issued a clarification the same day. ie on 6 Jan ..Pakistan claimed its post had been attacked on 6th Jan Indian army issued a statement declaring it never crossed the LOC.

An Indian army spokesman said it had responded to a "ceasefire violation" but did not cross the Line of Control.
