@SpringOnion - what are you objecting to how the police acted in that case you brought? They have registered the case and are investigating as an assault. If they find that there was base for anyother charge they will.
In ALL civilized countries that is what happens. You do not automatically jump to conclusions and call it religious hate crime. If they do, every case will become a cause for larger communal anger.
