The love the Pakistan people have for the Pakistan army is something that an indian can never understand.
I've seen many Pakistanis criticize and abuse their army.
Media, lawmakers, civil society also.
Lot of people also say that they publicly praise the army cause they are afraid of the army.
What's the reason for that?
I guess you're not in Pakistan, so you can afford to have a romantic view.
There will always be those who oppose the army. The love is not absolute. They are free to express their views. I visit Pakistan every year so I know the ground reality. BY & LARGE the Pakistan army is loved by the VAST majority of Pakistanis. They are the ONLY institute in Pakistan who the majority trust.
If the majority loved them, then you wouldn't have a civilian government. The majority won't have ended army rule.
Windows dressing for international consumption. The REAL power in Pakistan is and ALWAYS will be with the army.

Oh yes a new drama, As Pakistan is not giving consular access to Kulbhoshan yadav.
RSS govt. reached a new low, but you can not get access to your monkey with such arm twisting.
How do Pakistanis know that he was innocent? Consular staff routinely engages in espionage and when caught that person is declared persona non grata and ejected from the host nation.
I told you guys...you can t keep him. Under treaty Indian has to release him. Plus, don't think Indian govt fail to prove.I'm afraid it's not applicable, not if under espionage charge and that too with solid proof (if any). You might have to revisit the norms of Geneva convention for diplomatic immunity.
I agree the real power is the army, cause there was army rule for many decades. But power doesn't equate to love of the majority.
In Pakistan's case it does. Take it from someone who's been to Pakistan over 20 times and has stayed there for extended periods of time. Outsiders/foreigners cannot ever know the REAL ground realities.
It actually doesn't. Take it from someone who has more than 200 Pakistani friends, they mostly blame the army for radicalization of their otherwise originally liberal society, and advent of terror. IndoPak comparisons always crop up during conversations. They always say that India is more liberal and less affected by terror today than Pakistan just because of the policies pursued during army rule. You can't appropriate the entire Pakistani population in your own personal opinion about the army. Sure there a lot of people who love Pakistan army and are army fanboys for various reasons. We have similar fanboys in India too. Sure the ratio of fanboys in Pakistan to overall population would be more than their similar counterparts in India. But to say the vast majority of population love the army is quite illogical. Else you would not have had any civil government's at all. Remember army doesn't impose it's rule thru ballot, by winning any mass elections, they do it by force.
