First of all those '1500' do not include the already in service missiles as far as i know. There are already quite a few regiments in service.
That being said, using the brahmos will probably be seen as a nuclear agression and will be responded to by nukes. But this thread was created to ask how to stop the brahmos technically and not diplomatically so stop with the 'One shaheen is enough' talk.
Pakistan can deploy advanced radars, aerostat based preferably and sams near high value targets. Ive seen a few brilliant videos of the S300 taking out cruise missiles. Even with the mach 3 speed, they're not completely unstoppable.
Carry out swift pre emptive strikes on launch sites. Remember these include ships too. This would require an immense amount of intel, planning and coordination. Other than this, I dont think any nation has ways to stop cruise missiles.
