What's new

Pak cites shifting geography, lays claim to part of creek on India side

@Indians: don't waste your time for their idiocy claims.... not worth full to read atleast.....

why don't these guys claim Hawai, they can get alot of military installations and military secrets.....

.
the above article shows in 1968 Pak got 10% of disputed territory which means 90% remained with India . This means 8190 square kilometers worth area of Rann of Kutch remained with India

Please show me any post In which I claimed otherwise ... India got the land it already administered
The disputed territory was already controlled by India ...

What is so hard to comprehend about it ?

.
so,Pakistan is starting to learn one or two tricks from book of Chinese tactics(forged map and all)..great going Sino-Pak friendship..

@topic..

let them claim.they couldn't afford to place soldiers in Siachen too..thats why they are trying to dislodge from our positions(with peace talk and all)..we should just sit there and wait until they demarcate our positions(in both Guj and Kashmir) officially.

Ironically , only the Indian media is reporting it ... Makes me doubt the validity of the news ...

Clearly shows who obsessed with whom ...

Cant afford ? :what: Mate , we have been there checkmating the IA through Gyong La since the 1984 ... You have lost more soldiers than us on Siachin not to mention the mammoth logistics cost ...
No , we merely proposed a peace deal to vacate Siachin bilaterally and nothing ...
Doesn't mean we are in weak position and unable to maintain troops on the Glacier ...

this is why India wasn't happy with verdict in 1968

Well you can take your peace deal and shove it up where the sun dont shine. Seen enough of Pakistan's peace deals when we vacated Kargil in 1999. The moment Indian soldiers leave Siachen, Pakistani Army is going to try to occupy those positions. Its just the backstabbing nature of their mentality.

Really ? We had a peace deal regarding Kargil too ? :azn: and Ofcourse the peace deal will be monitored by both countries and International missions ... Nobody can sneak in and capture the area ...

.
So , according to you the skirmish at Rann of Kutch happened after the 1965 war ?
No.. You need to brush up on your reading skills mate.. They are as abysmal as your writing skills it seems.. What I said, was that the award of 10% of ROK to Pakistan as against its claim of 100% happened after 1965 war (in 1968 to be exact ) :D

Ok , we won it first from Maharaja but then the fighting continued for more than a year , Why couldn't IA take back those areas despite having superior technology and forces whilst we advanced upto Skardu and beyond ? ... Then , Nehru ran to the UN , didn't he ? Why , if your forces were in an advantageous position and about to liberate those areas ? :azn:
We did push you back from the borders of Srinagar (Srinagar airport was within striking distance of Pakistani forces when India intervened) now, didnt we.. And this was months after independence so no question of technological superiority or anything.. The way I look at it is that Maharaja of Kashmir eventually had to accede to Pakistan due to its proximity to Pakistan and majority muslim population, but in his insecurities, Jinnah ordered the invasion of Kashmir which led the maharaja to accede to India giving India the major chunk of the princely state of J&K including the capital of Srinagar.. The 1st and the biggest mistake of Pakistan in its quest of Kashmir which started the eventual downward spiral of Pakistan to where it has reached today.. Read more here..

i can argue with you saying that the maharaja would have done everything to keep himself in power and the indian army would have been asked to never the less come for help and any area we got would have been lost you can keep saying that the war was stupid but i will always disagree as you will with me

i am glad people like you arent in the higher ups do you even know the cost of keeping soldiers the lives. you can sit over here and keep shouting no to pakistan but the higher ups have to think thta the two are neighbors and both are going nowhere and some way peace has to established . and you are gravely misinformed about kargil. kargil was your territory that was infiltrated by our soldiers it was a heavy intelligence failure that troops were not stationed there since in the winter it was thought that in the cold none will trespass there was no pact about keeping troops in kargil..... if what you say is true then post some links plzzzzz........

anyway our media has not reported this your media has and considering how mush of a news hound ours is this should have been all over the news so dont mind if i say its fake news...... a topic is ruined on senseless bases and well the topic seemed senseless too since our media didnt report this

totally agree with you extreme pressure will be placed on us if we did everything and of course it will make us look even more bad when we are really trying to get our image to bearable level:p:P:p:P and and any agreement between the two factions will be a good step we have made our step for peace now its your turn

Do read up on the accounts by historians and politcal pundits of the time. Kashmir was on it way to becoming a province of Pakistan.. Its just that Jinnah jumped the gun and lost out on that opportunity..
