Politicians are there to make sure that their right of getting votes to sit in the parliament is not sabotaged and to make sure that the democracy is not sabotaged. All other job has to be done by the Army. Even cleaning the streets should be handled by the Army.

Starting from now if we strictly implement the right of education and provide free quality education to each child in Pakistan, school education for adults who could not complete their studies and vocational training for adults. Result; crime goes down, economy goes up standard of living goes up, more money comes in as investment.

The results of this will start to show in 15 years time. But we are so fortunate that this is has not been implemented yet, and we are enjoying independence since 68 years.

But who cares.

That's exactly what I was going to say.

The thing is civilian government in Pakistan never had its development priorities right. They go for the projects where they see something that benefits them, otherwise it's made a political fiasco like Kala Bagh Dam.

The recent example is Metro Bus project in Islamabad - Rawalpindi, though we may have needed Metro bus for these cities but it was not that urgent of a project, that money could have gone into some power generation project or rebuilding of FATA or development of rural areas. The tragedy is Islamabad being Capital of Pakistan never saw another Government hospital built after PIMs, leave aside the rest of Pakistan. But citizens of Islamabad and Rawalpindi need metro buses first, health is a secondary redundant matter in eyes of our government.

You must have recently heard news about drought in Thar area of Sindh? Children are dying daily in Thar from undernourishment. PPP the ruling party of that province countered that problem by running ads on different TV channels about their roads and water projects that they did in Thar. Now just look at what their priorities are, they will throw tax payers money on stupid ads to save themselves from being proven incompetent in Public's view but won't use it for betterment of their citizens.

These sick morons even perform Hajj and Umrah on tax payers expense.
