I do have eye on IAF future plans too.
But issue is, all plans are ''lagging'' and likely to face further delays in coming half decade.
Like MMRCA deal, 126 to 80, then 80 to 36 and now it is in final stages.
Like LCA which is behind schadule and still no where to appear. LCA Mk2 after 2022, and Mk1A after 2018.
Like FGFA which depends on Su50, Su50 is facing technical glitches and delays while RAF have reduce the order to two squadrons only after 2020.
and AMCA, still to touch prototype stages exist in Blueprints only.

What else IAF plan is going smoothly? Addition of 16 Su30MKI per year? That's it? While Entire fleet of Mig27 and Mig21 is trembling on last feet.

Mate again , the real word isn't bollywood, Pakistan F-16 A/B's have been upgraded to Block 40 level, back in 2010, Anatolian Eagle excercise Airforce Monthly July 2011 edition reported PAF F-16 A/B's ( not upgraded at the time) thrashed RAF Typhoons 3-3, I can post pic if you want. If PAF pilots can do that to NATO eurofighter typhoon pilots with non-upgraded F-16's, imagine what hell they can unleash on IAF with Block 52's or MLU upgraded F-16's, which has always lost much more aircraft to PAF in all previous conflicts, I don't want to debate, these things are available on Airforce Aces homepage, showing air to air kills since WW1 and have been discussed to death on this forum.

On the other hand large chunk of your airforce is Mig 21's (nicknamed flying coffins by your own pilots) and Mig29's/Jaguars/mirage 2000's...all can be countered by any aircraft in PAF inventory, be it the J-F 17 Thunder, F-7, F-16 or Mirage with ROSE upgrade etc. The only worthy aircraft you have is SU-30 MKI, that too looses its advantage in BVR combat, as Pakistan's F-16's and J-F 17's are BVR capable and SU-30 has a huge RCS , moreover F-16's are combat proven, and PAF holds the title to be the second country to shoot down hostile aircraft after Israel using F-16's, when PAF chopped off Soviet fighters trying to come from Afghanistan, while SU-30's (though good on paper) have never ever experienced any real combat nor ever shot down any aircraft in any conflict. @Windjammer
