PAF to Induct Modified Version of FD-2000 SAM: Journalist Ather Kazmi

Army had LY80AE, FM90, MANPADS (Anza and Stinger for eg) as well as SPAA, such as 35mm GDF guns and what not

Air force had SPAADA 2000, crotales (they still in service?) and maybe just maybe the hq2b which i think was taken out of service im not to sure.

Navy had FM90M and CIWS. As well as MANPADS.

@PanzerKiel question for you sir. Have the HQ2B been phased out of service completely or are they still here? Also are the crotales still in service?
HQ2Bs are all phased out of service for well over half a decade now , but Early Warning radars part of the HQ2B package are still being used.
Crotales are all still in service and will be upgraded soon.

Crotales are still in service. At least some are Now mounted on Mohafiz series vehicles. Not sure if the original carrier vehicles are still in service.
They were upgraded in the 90s first and then apparently upgraded again locally in the 2010s (or are to be upgraded soon), they would still make fairly useful SHORADs.

HQ2B may or may not be in service, maybe reserve? That I cannot answer.

Also note that HQ9B may have also been present in 2019, but likely wasn’t operationalized yet.

Edit: just saw that Farooq had already answered, he’s likely correct, go with that.

While individually the HQ2B radar may be obsolete in a 1:1 scenario against a modern aircraft with a jammer - in an integrated AD network with centralised data processing from multiple streams, the HQ2B radars themselves add a hell of a lot of value and should be retained esp given the lost cost to maintain and operate them. It adds one more headache for an opposing force to overcome and the cost to the opposing force is higher than to a defending force.

A smart decision for sure.

Soviet P-12 Radars are used , they are quite old now but they provide VHF Radar capabilities.
While India uses the P-18 radars and is looking to replace those.
