Don't be so sure, the F-7PG is the only aircraft in our arsenal that has easily been able to take out F-16 blk 52s in air combats at all altitudes. Couple that with real time data link with awacs that can see the rafael as soon as it takes off, yeah I'd my peace with the gods of was the rafael pilot cuz there's a very good chance that he ain't coming back.

What matter is reality. Hypothetically every fighter can take down any other fighter provided suitable environment.

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) has started initial work on the JF-17 Thunder Block III version of the multi-role fighter jet.

According to PAF sources, the multi-role fighter will be inducted in the Air Force in 2016. The Block III version will also enable pilots to see all required data on the helmet-screen.

The Block III version of the JF-17 Thunder will also feature a two-seater cockpit option.

I guess you did not know what happened---our TOO HONEST and with a total lack of tactical strategy---the air force officer incharge of the deal cancelled the sale because the Benazir wanted 5 million per aircraft for bribe---so for 40 aircraft---there was a 200 million dollar bribe---.

That thoughtless and tactless man did not realize---that 200 million buys 4 mirage 2k's----we would still be getting 36 mirage 2k's instead of 40---.

He literally killed the nation.

Do you have anything substantial proof to prove your point. Other wise its just a specullated allegation, nothing more. Mastan Bhai, stop spreading specullation, and provide some solid reasons, and proof because your claim also give the figure of the amount of the bribe.

I don't agree on Jh-7b, it's pretty old design from 70s.

I might agree to Jh-7c if Chinese ever decided to reshape to make it more modern.

You have olny registered here since 2015---maybe snooping around couple of years before that---but this forum has been here since 2005---.

I don't agree on Jh-7b, it's pretty old design from 70s.

It is an 80's design---. Pakistan needs simple functional proven modern ew suite equipped aircraft at a reasonable price and the JH7B is the best bet out there---.

He is saying truth. That happened, and news spread quickly in forces.

The things in which pair of Mrs Bhutto and Mr Zardari took bribes are very hard to prove, and this is the matter which stuck in between, hence no way for proofs.

Get the system first---and then go after those who took bribes---. But don't hold off or cancel a sale because of bribe---.

I agree with you ,Here in corporate world often the most bribe taker is the most smartest with always procuring best things due to higher quality (In return he/she thinks that its just a fees we are charging for our excellent work) .

I still don't agree on JH-7B. We need to look forward not backword.
We must increase the production rate of Jf-17 block 2 and 3 from 16 to 25 per years and if still need more then another production line can start in China.
For twin engine fighter, J-11x/J-16x is the best solution.
