PAF Reveals Bayraktar Akinci, TB-2, WL2 and Establishment of National ISR and Integrated Air Op Center in a Newly Released Video

. .
I would imagine Akinci would be on the list for Navy as well!

AKINCI UCAVs can change the game in the Indian Ocean

ANTI-SUBMARINE WARFARE
--- to carry SONOBOUY Pod capable to host 18 sonobuoys and to receive their signals providing the data to the AKINCI to detect Submarines

and to carry ORKA torpedos to hunt Submarines

ANTI-SURFACE WARFARE
-- 10 AKINCI UCAVs can carry 80 KUZGUN-TJ joint strike missiles for swarm attack on Frigates from 150-200 km away

80 KUZGUN joint strike missiles = $8 million
Frigate : $500 million

İndian SHIVALIK class Frigate armed with BARAK-1, SHTIL-1 SAMs with range of 15-30 km
İndian KOLKATA class Destroyer armed with BARAK-8 SAMs with range of 70 km

Do you think Pakistan will use AKINCI UCAV to attack on military targets in Indian soil ?

AKINCI UCAV is for defense role in Pakistani soil to stop land invasion by Indian Army
and UCAVs will operate under Pakistani Air force umbrella , ( F16 , JF-17 , J10 , HQ-9 )

better worry about Indian Army ( Tanks,Howitzers,IFVs,MLRS,Helicopters and mobile SAMs ) if they enter Pakistan

TB-2 and AKINCI UCAVs easly can destroy all of them ...
Well, you were on the right track until your next post below, which I also replied to.

As for the former, the utility of having these small UAVs (which TB-2 is, but Akinci is not) is that they are relatively hard to track and they can stay up in the air forever. You have to have a certain number of them in your system to present that threat to an invading force. But that doesn't change the fact that they are relatively unsophisticated machines. and as time goes on, there will be a lot of counter measures to them. Depending on the ability of opposing force to conduct EW, things like TB-2/WL-2/CH-4 may or may not be all that useful. Until these things develop more stealth, it would be hard for them to achieve the same success that they achieved against a very disorganized Russian army with very weak EW capabilities.

You don't need a large slow moving UAV with no stealth to drop sonobuoys. Pakistan is already buying WL-2 and that one has ASW variant.
Keep in mind that having a UAV of any kind dropping soonbuoys or in general search for submarines in the sky without guidance underneath is like searching for a needle in a stack of hay. Definitely does not change any kind of game.

As for ASuW, you can launch just as many AShM from stealthy FACs. It's lot easier for aerial radar to pick up slow moving UAV and scramble jet to intercept vs stealthy FAC.

IMO the PAF would use the Akıncı for peacetime ELINT and SIGINT. For widespread and around-the-clock coverage, it's probably cheaper for the PAF to operate the Akıncı than manned aircraft. You also eliminate the issue of crew fatigue when flying 20+ hours per sortie.

But for a true wartime strike capability, the PAF will need a jet-based UCAV.
Baykar Mius will hopefully be on the cards when it comes online. Inshallah.

My guess is two more drones could be Aksungur from Turkey and HALE drone like WZ 7 from China.
Aksungur could be since it has a very good naval role of recon and high endurance along with excellent loadouts.

Please note one thing: MIUS has to be "trained" for air combat, thanks to its advanced AI. Who else are better than the PAF pros?

Bayraktar has its own programming language, operating systems, compilers etc. for the SW it develops for its platforms. Interestingly, even the syntax is in Turkish language...

IMO,A jet-based stealth UCAV is better.Every "high-cost"UCAV have to be "stealth"or"ultra fast"or both of them, otherwise they will be something expensive but easy to be shot down, just like a toy.

I’m genuinely concerned about fratricide with PA operating the HQ-9 rather than the PAF, they don’t have the complete air picture. Or AD units will have the regularly exercise with PAF and integrate into a combined C-C
They have a dedicated squadron being operated by the Officers already being used on the LOC for Surveillance and live Imaging during a Raid on the post. So Army is as Capable and had already used them in a battle. And the last ops in Balochistan where SSG teams and Drones were used is the prime example of the integration of the system into full operation capability.

Turkish Armed Forces have enough power to protect Turkish UCAVs

1-- EW Systems can not do anything against Turkish UCAVs which have great countermeasure capability against EW attacks

USA,İsrael and Russia are top countries in EW technology, still Their EW Systems could not stop Turkish UCAVs in Syria , Libya , Karabakh and Ukraine

2-- only Fighter Jets can intercept Turkish UCAVs
but Turkish Airforce F-16 Fighter Jets will always protect Turkish UCAVs

Turkish F-16s shot down 2 Syrian SU-24 Fighter Jets which tried to attack Turkish TB-2 UCAVs over Idlib Syria

( thanks to network centric warfare ( Boeing E-7T AEWC , F-16s with link-16 and AIM-120C7 networked a2a missiles )

also in the Eastern Mediterranean , S400 Air Defense Systems to protect AKINCI UCAVs against enemy Fighter Jets

and MIUS unmanned stealth Fighter Jet is coming ( block2 variant , speed of mach 1,4 , AESA Radar , a2a Missiles ) to protect AKINCI UCAVs

American and Chinese UCAVs armed with only 8-16 km Missiles
on the other hand , Turkish AKINCI UCAV will be armed with 150 km TRLG-230 supersonic Missile and 200 km KUZGUN-TJ Missile

even French , British Destroyers armed with 48 x SAMs never can stop swarm attack by 10 AKINCI UCAVs ( 80 x KUZGUN-TJ Missiles )

1 x Fighter Jet = $100 million
10-15 x AKINCI UCAVs = $100 milliion

AKINCI UCAV is very sophisticated machine

What is the strength of our drone fleet after all these inductions?
And how does it compare to our neighbour?
