PAF in the media and on the cover!

Somewhere in this forum, there is a poll thread on, the question of the best Airforce in the Islamic world. Be it an actor, singer, sport personality or for that matter any other celebrity, their popularity is gouged by as to how much coverage or publicity they recive.

Being an Aviation enthusiast and a dedicated PAF fan, over the years it has been proved that either in cover stories or general articles, PAF receives more than it's fair share of attention, which again goes to prove it's popularity in the airpower family.

But, please, can you make your thread titles more informative? I have noticed you go for the more "poetic" titles, but this isn't advertising man, keep it simple and straightforward.

Dude....I don't think those covers are real. They are clearly photoshopped as any computer guru can tell.

Pictures have added text and fake flags. Also in this first picture, there is a black circular symbol which I haven't seen on any PAF bird.

Note another interesting thing. All the covers have same kind of texture which is impossible. Must have gone through a texture algorithm to give it an old look. Please guys, we don't this kind of support for our PAF. Our enemies know how capable it is.

The symbol you are pointing to belongs to No.23 Squadron (Talons), home based Samungli in Balochistan. When this shot was taken back in early 80s, the Squadron was flying depicted F-6s, now a days, it's equipped with the F-7PGs and has an air superiority role. And as for your ingenuity, can you explain the logic for any one imposing on 30 year old pictures. I also have articles to supplement the cover stories.!!!!!!!

I am not IMPLYING that these pictures ARE photoshopped. I am just saying that they LOOK photoshopped. If they get out on some foreign forum, people may point that out as they are always trying to degrade PAF.

And thank you for the information you provided about Talons Symbol. I am noob at this kind of information. Just a loving Pakistani who loves his Air Force.

The coverage speaks volumes for PAF.
The AFM also regularly carries news and articles on this small yet hard hitting force.
