At this close a distance, you don't need to see the enemy fighter on your radar do you? At any rate, when a radar emitter/receiver gets close to the target, the probability of detection increases. Whether this is also true when the target is a Stealth aircraft, I do not know.

The Raptor pilot feels much safer now
When i say invisible, i meant on the radar screen. Since F-7 carry sidewinders, is it possible for them to get a lock on to the F-22?
I am having funny thoughts like ,What the F-7 pilots be thinking when there were getting near the Raptor first time in the air (i guess) and escorting it ,and similarly the raptor pilot viceversa?![]()
Not WW2 but yes its a Nam' era fighter...But soon it will be replaced with JFi am pretty sure our pilots feel (we are flying WWII era fighters lol)
