PAF F-16s Do Incorporate DRFM Technology !

Aren't DA 20s going to retire soon?

Nope, why ? they go though upgrades and up keeping from time to time here to stay not going anywhere nor any need !

DA-20s stationed to support No. 9 sqn Griffins (at Mushaf AFB) and not No. 5 sqn Falcons / No. 11 sqn Arrows (at Shahbaz AFB) is somewhat self-explanatory - the AN/ALQ-211(V)9 pod with Block 52+ is an excellent ECM capability on its own.

Da-20 deployed has nothing to do with supporting sqn it support all airforce in any operation , secondly peace time location does not mean anything

M MO OST of Sqn operations deployment keep changing in war/ sensitive time

Lastly block 52 has internal ew version of same 211 vs mlu needing a poded version of 211

What about F-15K/SA/X versions??
I haven't checked, but should compatible.
Because according to "Modern Air Combat" by Mike Spick and Bill Gunston 1984 ... even F-15A/B could carry AGM-65

The US didn't include DRFM in the DSCA notice/offer in 2006. However, ACM Tanvir made DRFM and Link-16 approval mandatory before signing the F-16 LOA 1-2 years later. You can read about it on WikiLeaks.

One of many unsung heroes. Sometimes battles that we think are "little" --- whether against suppliers or superiors --- can turn out to have massive positive outcomes.

During the 1st visit of Imran Khan to USA, the Americans asked to drop Azm and buy the latest variant of the F-15E Strike Eagle. F-16s upgrades were discussed, along with spare parts and with the possibility of acquiring the original extra batch of 18 Vipers but in the Block 72 format, the latter being a PAF demand.
So Khafee was right about F-16 Block 70/72, PAF is trying to get them.
F-16 upgrades for $ 9.1 million are in pipeline.
F-15E/Azm news is new.
