Probably because the Air Cheif did not need the Helmet with the JHMCS for this particular sortie

That is the standard issue helmet (HGU-55/P) of the PAF - it is given to all pilots: JF-17, Mirage, F-16, F-7, etc. If you are referring to the JHMCS in use by the F-16s, then the HMD/S is only necessary for the combat pilot in a live mission. ACM Aman was in the backseat doing a fly over (or in another case managing a combat operation), but he wasn't involved in cuing or directly firing. In fact, back-seat F-16 pilots in the PAF don't use JHMCS.

Because the whole PAF has been using HGU-55P helmets for a long time now hence same helmets. The oxygen masks are a different story. Some pilots prefer the old MBU-5/7 masks (like our ACM), a lot use the new MBU-20 masks (O2 Line offset to the side) a few use the MBU-12 masks.
BTW JHMCS is an add-on removable attachment for the HGU-55P & not a separate new helmet.

JHMCS is not flown by GIBS anyway, aircraft are only fitted for one JHMCS.

No !!!! F-16 is an Air Superiority Fighter not a bomber. PAF have a defensive mind set and doesn't have an offensive mind set. F-7, F-16,Mirages and JF-17 will be used to Defend Pakistani Air Space against Indian Aircrafts. So these aircrafts roles are defensive. For Offensive Strategy PAF may use Burraq Drones.

My Personal Opinion is PAF should invest in a pure Bomber platform. Like the British Tornadoes.

This Aircraft is a Multi-role Fighter\Bomber. It can take care of any threat in the sky without any escort or help.

As bombers(the block 52s) they have more range and can carry more payload than anything else in our inventory

PAF is allowed to use them only for AD purpose, no A to G missiles provided by USA, further we are not allowed to upgrade them. Even AMRAAM120 were provided to PAF when USA and it's main allies switch to modern version. Still no AIM9X for PAk.

We should realize that USA shall not provide any hi tech weapon to Pak, we can get only their old junk.

Tornadoe is no more relevant fighter bomber, less maneuverability is also main issue, has no chance even against second tier IAF jets.

Really then what the hell is this Air Superiority fighter doing with Laser guided bombs and a Sniper Targeting pod? Trying to sneak up on enemy fighters and drop the bombs on their flight deck?

So you think a burraq drone is better choice than a F-16 in taking out distant enemy strategic targets?

PAF had evaluated the Tornado but rejected it because of its lack of agility in air to air combat. Did you know that the Tornado ADV was a pure fighter version of the Tornado. But even the British had to compliment it with BAE Hawk for dog fighting

British found out this not to be true during the earlier stages of the Iraq war the hard way
