I hope China develops a PL-17E with a 290 km range for export, that can be carried by the J-10. Would be great for taking out Indian special mission aircraft. The following video states the J-10C is capable (weight wise) to carry the PL-17 already, but in the position where fuel tanks would be, so a future version with CFTs maybe needed, IMHO, to enable carrying the PL-17 in the position where the Fuel tanks could have gone.
