PAF 133 GDP - Passed the Initial and Medical!!!

Oh tough luck bro, well I already applied and passed the initials as mentioned. I will have the FSC equivalence soon, got a receipt for it alongwith my Statement of Result, which was enough to sit for the exams. I just need to have the equivalence before I submit the ISSB forms, which I will, inshaAllah :)

Good luck to you!

Yep... =(
well hope you get in this time. :)
and if you do, let me know! :p
good luck!

The interview at large is designed to conclude your confidence. So if your are a firm and tough candinate, it is likely to be short with not too many questions but some mama's boys will have tough time.

Hi, an update for you guys. I passed my Medical today with flying colors and also gave my interview. Now they told me that wait for the Merit List which will be posted at the end of September. Gosh this is nerve wrecking, such a long wait!

Does anyone know for a fact how the merit list is made? Like on which factors do they give you scores?

Thanks!

I don't mean to scare you kid, but these guys are big on first impressions. My friend was taking interviews for hopefuls for the Army when I popped in. He was going to interview the last kid. Looking in from a window, he said: "This guy won't make it" when I asked him why, he pointed out a couple of pointers.
1) He was tapping his feet nervously.
2) He was moving his head around the room as if it were almost spinning.
3) He chewed his nails from time to time.
My friend interviewed him for a good 10 minutes and rejected him afterwards because he wasn't confident enough.
Just depends on how you conducted yourself during the interview.
Good Luck,

.
He asked me one question and one question only "Introduce Yourself", funny how this was the same interviewer as I got last time and the same question was asked last time as well. I answered him very confidently and did none of the above mentioned things which would make him think I am nervous.

After hearing my answer he signed my application and that's about it.

Btw this interview was conducted in a weird manner, a group of 5-6 candidates were called into the room at once and he asked a question or two to each of us and then either signed our application or just rolled it over without signing.

Any hints in this?

Every interviewer has his own methods. I can only imagine. Signing yours while rolling others does seem to go in your favour however, even if you passed the interview. Your profile will undergo further scrutiny before anything is finalized. My advice would be to take it easy and wait for the big day.
Good luck again,

Well he signed a few others along with mine, but didn't sign this one guys application who was so nervous he didn't answer much or blabbered his answers. So we all assumed that he passed us and failed him :D

Any idea on how they determine the merit?

.
Kakgeta, did you use to take these tests as interviewer?

Congrats, but what do you mean by flying colors? Do they tell candidates about their performance and marks/score?
