Overcoming Turkey’s policy blunder concerning India

Turkey simply took a decision because India has no borders with Afghanistan hence no connection to geo-political situation of the region. India is mostly interested in trade and investment at the expense of compromising geo-political stability of neighbors hence turkey took a level headed decision to keep India out. Only the opinion of Indian journalists states that it was a move to cave in Pakistani pressure..Well Turkey, Pakistan and Afghanistan are all Islamic countries hence the interests of a similar block will over take priority over someone else.

Serious what can India contribute to enhance security across the region bordering Afghanistan? It is more likely to worsen the situation out of its hegemonic obsession.

How continently you have spared Pakistan who is trying to find strategic depth in Afghanistan. I am not going to talk about security situation of Afghanistan getting worst everyday because of centuries of terrorist staying Pakistan. But you bigmouth rants are now predictable in each post with hypocritical analysis about India. Have some guts and ask any Afghanistani what he think about Indians and Pakistanis before relaxing on leisures given by Turkey et al.

The topic in hand is analysis by an Author from Turkey. India is least concerned about what others think about India. India has resources at disposal to find its appropriate place in Afghanistan. Pakistan may dream about a Muslim nations nexus in middle east Asia, but India has very realistic read benign approach as far as making alliances with Muslim nations of that part of the world is concerned. We will chew what we are cable of chewing. Pakistan can try to form new world order in the mean time.

BTW what Turkey is doing right now is a knee jerk reaction following difficulty to be in EU and the so called Muslim oppression by western nations. India will wait for better circumstances, i think.

Depends which Afghan, and what ethnicity he or she is, most Southerners have links of tribe, ethnicity, family with Pakistani Pashtuns - and come here for business, education, health etc etc.

And many Afghans who have lived in Pakistan as refugees, it is a complex country, some Afghans resent Pakistan - others don't.
