This has been the case in Ajk since the 1990s armed struggle against India. At first the Kashmiri nationalist were encouraged by Pakistan but then later on betrayed and leaders were kidnapped and killed, then Pakistan governments started to support jihadis and caused damage and divided the kashmiri struggle movement. We never see this on Pakistani media.

From military courts to civil courts. All it took was a little pressure from HRW and some US politicians.

Don't think this is a change to civil courts. These guys were advised by ISPR to call army act as the relevant law of the land / relevant law under constitution rather than army act.

There is no change in position that I see . The Army Act is part of Pakistan 's laws and the government always said that those involved in attacks on military installations would be tried under Army Act and Official Secrets Act and those involved in attacks on civilian installations would be tried in civilian courts.

We always knew these terrorists were on the payroll on the GHQ. They used these types of groups to terrorize minorities into submission. And some wonder why the Shias are pro Iranian across the ethnic lines in Pakistan. Even my Shia Pasthuns family is pro Iranian.

The stuff I saw and read can help understand my unique views on many things.

The NLI Regiment boys (majority Shia) wrecked the TTP and other salafist, Takfiri groups during WOT.

Side note: the NLI also wrecked the Indians during Kargil.
