There is nothing wrong with PTI. It is only rotten at the top. Imran Khan is a foreign agent bent on destroying Pakistan economically and otherwise. The army should not interfere in politics and stop its property dealing business but this should not be achieved by destroying the country at the behest of the enemies. As much I ve hated the army establishment and their abuse of power, I feel they have become a necessary evil considering the situation Pakistan is. Its sad to see people dont realise the same scenario was cooked up in Libya, Syria, Iraq, Egypt etc, where the people were incited to stand up against the state while foreign power executed their agendas. Look where those countries are today. I urge the people of my country to open their eyes, ignore what propaganda political parties are feeding you and don't go against the state and armed forces. Criticism is one thing. We wont have a country left if the armed forces are maligned the way the way they are being today.

The easiest way to reverse the damage to their public image is for the establishment to stage a coup conducted by juniors that remove COAS and Corp Commanders and conduct elections. This way the public will isolate the "bad army" from the "good army". Public image restored 100%.

Realizing the top brass have done wrong, but persistence in going down the confrontational path with Imran Khan and essentially the nation will continue to degrade the army's image. The establishment has still not realized that Imran Khan is larger than Pakistan.

Before you attack me for saying this, note the dramatic increase in immigration & brain drain after Khan was removed. This means that people have given up on a Pakistan without Imran Khan.

While we all agree that the military should not interfere in the political domain, opinions on the path to achieving this goal remain divided. While some, like yourself and many other younger individuals on PDF and in the streets, advocate for the complete and unconditional surrender of the military, along with total humiliation and disgrace for their past actions, others with more extensive experience, based on their age, contend that such demoralization and humiliation of the military could result in negative consequences. Therefore, it is imperative that we take a thoughtful approach and devise a solution that allows all parties to save face. This is especially crucial, given that a robust military is a necessary aspect of our federation's survival and to safeguard against external threats.

As for you bringing up Bangladesh example, while it is true that the events of 1971 were a collective failure of our nation, it is important to note that the Army cannot be solely blamed for it. However, without delving into the specifics of that situation, it is worth mentioning that the Mukti Bahini could not have succeeded without the direct intervention of the Indian military. One cannot deny that, despite the various claims made on social media, the civilian population would stand no chance against the Pakistani Army if it were to use full force against them. We need to ask ourselves that If we continue to push for the complete removal of the Army without considering the potential consequences, are we willing to risk the possibility of Indian (or any foreign) military intervention in our own country to rid us of what we perceive as the Army's rule?

And have you fully considered the potential ramifications of your proposed solution, which involves junior officers overthrowing senior officers? If the attempt were to fail, it could have serious consequences. Even if it were successful, there may be dangerous implications and possibilities that arise in the future. One feasible solution, as pointed out by @Mustang125, could be for the most senior officer to intervene and instruct the 'junior officer' to act appropriately. Currently, however, it seems that things are not progressing in a positive direction. The military appears unwilling to be pushed aside by what they perceive as a 'dangerous cult'.

These are thoughtful and wise words. It is hoped that the army distance itself from its mercenary roots and travel from its present nationalist phase to an ideologically Islamic army.
