These journalists could be any thing in their history or life, but on this occasion their concerns and observations were very genuine, Imran Khan on the other hand brushed aside their questions, which happens all the time and we are used to it.

We have to appreciate Imran Khan for one thing that he is actually taking questions from journalists...Modi doesn't take questions...he does whatever he wants to do...but in India we don't try to silence media and that's not possible too(as someone in that meeting is levelling an allegation against Imran)
Although Modi and Imran both have this traits of a monarch ,Imran is somewhat open to media...but Modi appears more decisive and assertive.

I am surprised at your ignorance on how governments work.

Political leadership is responsible for policy and strategy.

They make decisions based on facts provided to them, by the civil service
and their decisions are implemented by the civil service, aka departments.

Orya the dumb *** belongs to the very dysfunctional civil service, that is causing the downfall of this country.

But despite my support for PTI government, I know for a fact that there have been blunders and I have mentioned them on this forum too.

I also totally agree with Orya Maqbool Jan on this point. People whose centre of life/residence during last 10 years is not in Pakistan should not be on high decision making official posts. I don't believe this BS that expat Pakistanis can run the affairs of Pakistan better than the Pakistanis that are actually living there and have been an integral part of its society and system. I am saying it even though I also fall in expat category and yes I can never know about the ground realities of Pakistan better than let's say a family member of mine who is actually living there. Even though I lived for first 25 years of my life in Pakistan but now even I feel stranger when I go back to Pakistan from time to time and see how the things/society/behaviours there keep changing in such a rapid way that even I the one born and grown up there often feel overwhelmed to understand the deviating ground realities of Pakistan.

So all this BS expat the so-called saviors of Pakistan coming to Pakistan and occupying the decisive official posts in the government is very dangerous for the governance of Pakistan. People in Pakistan generally don't like to be bossed by so-called know it all "expat Pakistani super heroes". Even I also used to hate the Shaukat Aziz for the same reason when he was called from abroad and made finance minister and then prime minister of Pakistan, I can understand the feelings of local people in administration at the moment who feel marginalized by these mummy daddy ex-pat know it all tola collected by Imran Khan to run the affairs of Pakistan.

Does the pakistan elite represent this country? The bureaucrats in Pakistan live a kings life. They have looted the country and done nothing else. What is the achievement of afsar shahi in Pakistan?

Those who send major chunk of money to Pakistan on monthly basis are Pakistanis living in saudi arabia, UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Masqat etc. because almost all of them live there as workers and their families and children live back in Pakistan, they are the major "remittance" senders to Pakistan but none of them ever gets into politics of Pakistan even though they are all Pakistani nationals and their visas are also purely work permit temporary visas, they don't have any kind of permanent visas or nationalities of those countries, neither are they interested in having them. It is only the so-called expats from UK, US, Canada living "expats" in most cases nationals of those countries who are living there with their families and have their center of life in those countries but still poking their noses in the politics and affairs of Pakistan. And Orya Maqbool Jan was not a corrupt bureaucrat, I told the people not everyone in Pakistan is corrupt, I have lived there so I know it very well.
