Great !! now we can say whatever we want to say...

ISLAMABAD: The original draft of the 1973 Constitution, a very important document of the country, has been lost and the parliamentary sources have confirmed that the original document of the 1973 Constitution is not available in the record and archives of the National Assembly.

The officials are struggling to find out when and how this very important document had been robbed or stolen. During the late Zulfikar Ali Bhutto’s first government, the National Assembly of Pakistan had approved the first constitution of the country on April 10, 1973 and on April 12, 1973 the National Assembly, in its special session in the State Bank Building, Islamabad, had marked the signing ceremony on the new constitutional draft.

According to the record, after signing the document, members of the National Assembly, headed by Abdul Hafiz Pirzada, law minister of the time, went to the President House in Rawalpindi where Zulfikar Ali Bhutto (President at that time) put signature on the new Constitution.

The parliamentary sources say that the original document of the 1973 Constitution had never been seen in the record of the Parliament House since then. When Speaker National Assembly Dr Fehmida Mirza at the time of approval of the 18th Amendment wanted to see the original document of the Constitution, it transpired that the same was not present in the record of the Assembly.

so pakistan is now officially.a lawless state.....save some money and get rid of the usless law making.assembly who sldom turn.up for assembly session.and never do any actual law making ...only fighting.

so what you are saying is that the document on which the constitution was written is lost? so what ? as long as you follow the spirit to it there should be no problem..

Cant we ask China to help us reverse engineer our Constitution ?

its a important document...that needs to be in its place, just like the drivers license !!

I wonder if the Bhutto family still has it? In 1973 Z.A.B., as civilian martial law administrator, didn't have to show any document to anybody. Maybe he wanted to keep the signed constitution so he could alter it later, if he so desired? After all, he never did release the report as to how Pakistan lost the 1971 war - he kept it as a weapon and threat to use against the generals if they got too uppity.

I wonder if Bhutto was part of some secret "free mason" type organization.. and on the back of the 1973 constitution is a map to trillions of dollars of hidden treasure..
Perhaps Abdullah Shah Ghazi's mazar hides mountains of gold and jewels..

Oh well.. its lost.. like a lot of things in Pakistani history.

Oh great!!,,,now our law an order will be ruined, as if it is being followed!!

I think you are trying to insult Judaism and Christianity here by implying their holy texts are not authentic, but I'm not sure.

Salman is a pure Wahhabi who calls hindus pagan nothing surprises me from him.

Was/Is the constitution being followed for the welfare of the nation and the people?

If not, then whether it is lost or not does not make even the slightest difference for the nation and the common man.
