I personally believe the recent attacks and mischief is by the local TTP splinter groups operating in localized cells, rather than the main central leadership pursing a policy offensive.

Considering TTP has been attacking Pakistan for years; killed amounting to 100k and more; children and women included. TTP even attacked on school of Armies which claimed the lives of children who were students.

It was Imran Khan who has maintained pro-stance of TTP throughout the years. Even suggested official office for TTP. And opposed any potential military operation against TTP which to the point also lied about the context in regards to eradication of terrorism in 40% at first which khan implicated as 40% chance of military operation being successful just to undermine any opportunity of the potential military operation against TTP.

And that is proven old school record. I am surprised why that is news. And now with khan insinuating like this; clearly khan is misleading the nation on purpose or he is being fed wrong report judging by the advisors which can't be surprised given khan consistent u-turn due to advisors that don't have best interest for party and Pakistan if we read on the context. At the end, only ALLAAH knows best.

As for political context of political parties, that is different matter but TTP remains threat to Pakistan and Armies to this day. That is not changing anytime soon.

Wow! The TTP. Who do they serve? THAT is a great mystery. We can't ask them because they lie. Perhaps ole Joe Biden gave Afghanistan to the Taliban, and tons of shiny new arms, so that they could give their TTP buddies a boost, and free reign to harass Pakistan?
