Operation against terrorists affected by India: Gen Raheel

.
i didnt say you run to US but UN .. check out 48 and 65 ...
History Fail.

Pakistan knocked UN doors in 1948. The UN formulated a mandated ceasefire. Nehru accepted in 1949 - declaring an unilateral ceasefire. Pakistan accepted it as well.

1965 - The UN asked India to ceasefire. India refused. Soviet Union requested, with a condition that the negotiations will happen in the Soviet Union(neutral zone). Then India accepted. Pakistan had been crying for much longer. Check your archives - particularly the alarm telegraphs sent by your foreign office, your MilInt stating the dire straits of you ammo supplies etc.

Your ignorance is good for us, so if you don't want to believe these, it benefits us...not you.

1. i didnt say you run to US but UN .. check out 48 and 65 ...

2 . there is no cure for the person living in delusion ... everyone knows what is Indian interest in Afghanistan ....

3 . first its not your Kashmir , you are holding it by force , if you do than there is no reason to stationed 0.6 million armed force in IOK ...second , its a disputed territory, and a issue which needs to be solved by mutual understanding , which probably be giving kashmiri peoples right to decide for themselves .

1) US or UN - it's not us who ran begging for ceasefire in the last war, after stupidly starting it. In '48, both countries went to the UN. In '65, Indian army was at the gates of Lahore - Pak army was not at the gates of Bangalore or Chennai. You really think we were the ones who wanted a ceasefire? You started the war trying to take Kashmir, you ended up desperately defending Lahore. Please tell me, which major Indian city was on the point of being overrun by PA? You should ask for a tuition refund from the "school" that taught you that India was in trouble in '65.

3) It is our Kashmir, and until you accept it, you are responsible for the occasional violence. Your statement proves that it is your country that starts conflicts and shootings, since it is you who do not accept the status quo.

4) That N million soldiers myth has been debunked N million times before, but here we go again.

a) The Indian army does not do any operations internally in Kashmir - only the Rashtriya Rifles, under the home ministry does. Our army is for fighting external powers, unlike yours which is perennially doing rah-e-this and zarb-e-that inside your own country against your own people.

b) The total size of the Rashtriya rifles is 65,000. Not N million.

c) The conventional army is stationed there and confined to their barracks, only because Pak has made it clear that it wants to take Kashmir from us. They are there to defend against Pakistan's greed, not to wage counter insurgency. And even those non deployed troops do not number anywhere in the hundred thousands.

@SarthakGanguly : Please do illuminate this new graduate of Pakistan's history schools. He has just earned his Bachelor's certificate in history, and is drunk high on delusions of Pak taking 1/3rd of Kashmir in '48 from India, defeating India in '65 and making India ask for ceasefire, and all that nonsense that gullible Pakistanis are taught to believe.

Jeez - check this for a start - http://www.un.org/en/ga/search/view_doc.asp?symbol=S/RES/47(1948)
Check your diplomatic cables if Pakistan has an e archive for that. Declassified 65 docs of US does exist as well. Thanks.

No, actually I have had second thoughts. it is best if Pakistanis believe that they have defeated us. It's good if your adversary is lost in delusions. Suits us fine.

Wonder what actions carried out by the Indian army is causing all this weeping?.

Grow up guys. The COAS could probably just be giving a briefing to the US about the Indo-Pak border. Nothing to mock him about. At least this COAS unlike his predecessor has taken the bull by the horns and is tackling the issue of insurgency in his country. He also did not capitalize on the internal disputes in Pakistani politics and seize power for himself. In my view, this may be the best time for India to engage in talks with Pakistan since they have a military leadership which is willing to respect the political institutions. Hopefully PM Sharif will get his act together soon

It looks more like a viled threat to US, ask India to back down on LoC or else..

What a silly logic, India border ceasefire is harming Army ops against terrorists. I mean US must be laughing

.
The engagement on the border is between two paramilitaries the rangers and the BSF. How is the army involved on either side?
The mortar lobbing used to be a routine thing in the past. Why this has become an issue to be raised with US?
