Then along came a bureaucrat without any aviation experience begging, stealing and bribing his way to a grade 21 seat and then PIA died! The end!

The answer to PIA salvation is privatization. It has to be massively down sized. As much as people might dislike and disprove of my comment it is a fact an organization cannot function properly with over or under staffing.

There are scores and scores of politically favored employments. And just as many relatives of PIA employees hooked up. A single or multiple owner will down or right size it first thing just to start the things up. And Hence, the protests. These employees know they're days will be numbered if they loose the federal government's protection. They're on the roads for their jobs.

Anyway, on topic, people acting like this protest is weird. You tell a worker they'll get pension after retirement, etc, etc, and then privatise it (Sell it to your best mate for a knock down price) and say they won't get any of the benefits they were going to and will instead be sacked.

Not all employees in PIA are there because of nepotism. Those on merit are protesting too, and anyone supporting Nawaz and Punjabi Rangers Murderers are just evil
