The so-called poor group has a group within that doesn’t want to put time and efforts to come out of poverty despite having many different ideas and low investment opportunities. In Pakistan, we have donated enough to make them LAZY.

Like I said in comment that it should be voluntarily.

I remember when I was a kid and went to Jamah cloth market in Karachi with my grand ma and saw a huge queue of people outside a bank. I asked my grand ma what they are doin and she said they are good people who are trying to donate for Qarz Utharo mulk sanwaro muhim so that people become independent of all the qarzas etc. Sad to see how it went down the drain and poor patriots were taken for a fool.

Remember we are the people who built Shaukat Khanum hospital and are still running it for decades along with Edhi, Chipa, Selani and Ansar Burni organisations.

People here are willing to donate for betterment of country. Only right and honest guidance is needed.



Buddy, I am willing to voluntarily pay so that the poor people are not burdened. I am sick and tired of looking at faces of poor workers who are worried about sky rocketing bills.

You cannot expect dozen or several thousand people donations to feed 200 million people.
If govt is serious about building dams or Paying off loan than they have to add surcharge to take money from every able body.

my utility water bill just added $15 mandatory fee after single local municipal (not city, not state) legislation, almost doubling my water bill. Reason, municipality ran out of well water and water is procured from another reservoir.

Govt of Pakistan can subsidize living for Pakistanis by taking foreign loans. People have to pay. Sooner or later.

Well, at first, to as well it seemed too big to be unrealistic.

Nai bhai, mein jab koi sakht bat karta hon to usse pehle Alhamdullilah bolta hon. I never have any Bad intentions while saying. Just telling an observed FACT.

Poverty is really a very hard condition. A person being desperate cannot think of ideas and due to lack of resources can’t implement.

Government as well as public must progressively work together to materialize schemes to overall eradicate poverty.

Stupid media , OGRA gave sui companies prescribed prices through revenue requirement determination. OGRA is doing so for last 18 years. It is now up to the government to increase or not to increase the consumer prices. For last six years government has not increased the prices.
