It is India who has no choice.

Iran is one of the only oil producers in the world who is not under American influence.

Saudis have promised to pitch in for any shortfall which would result from India complying with US led sanction when Anthony visited Saudi arabia.

We are not scaling down our imports because doing so at this juncture would cause irreperable damage to our relations with Iran.
