What's new

NS is tapping my phone calls and IB is after me - Moaeed Peerzada

democracy is weak bcoz few corrupt families have made a cartel ... u can neither replace them nor the will let anyone from their party to come on top

Democracy is weak because the Army has interrupted the process at regular interval to ensure that proper processes do not develop. It creates puppets for its own use and does not care about other aspects. NS is Gen Zia's creation. The next embryo is IK.

'The one who is more attached with the common Pakistani'

Nice attempt to avoid the question with a claim that the "people love the Army". This claim is increasingly hollow, and it is only a matter of time this facade fails too. Talk to the people and you will see.

No I didn't avoid the query but state a fact Arm Forces of Pakistan have more common Pakistani in their cadre than any political party .....

Both the civilian and military draw their numbers from Pakistanis, so yes, what you say is a fact. But it is irrelevant to the point we are talking about.

No my dear this the basic point which can easily clarify the dynamics of civilian-military relationship .... just name me a genuinely papular civilian leader at National level, who is more attach to the nation than the Army Chief ..... its a fact accept it.

The dynamics are that any politician on the national stage is created and manipulated by the Army. The only two exceptions to this rule were killed.

they were created because of the absence of 'genuine leadership' and someone was required todo the job ..... as a matter of fact army was dragged by the civilian bureaucracy & some feudal politicians in the power game ...... now tell me the absence of leadership was the fault of military ???

If you were hinting to towards Bhutto family than my dear they were also raised by Army.

So you have accepted my assertion that the Army creates these politicians to suit its own purposes. All you are trying to do is to justify this illegal meddling, which is simply impossible.

That is indeed the truth, no matter how you try to spin it.

dear read every post of mine in this thread where I denied the alliance of politicians and military....???

I am consistent with my argument that 'there is a reason army is involved in internal issues and the reason is the incompetency of available political class and the absence of genuine leadership, military is just filling the vacuum' or simply military is just occupying the available space

it you my dear who is casting all blame to military ..... read my previous post

My dear system works when all the components work together for a common objective ..... you think Military as the main villain, my stance is civilians caused more harm to Pakistan from Ghulam Muhammad to NS, but both Millitary and civilians have their haunted past ....

@HRK @VCheng one thing we must admit that 80z Martial law had brought some very terrible experiences with it ...that had long lasting effects...all this Jihadism/Extremism/fundamentalism/hate literature started from that time...and see we are still facing it...a demon came and destroyed everything and took us back to the stone age ..when we were flourshing...so its natural for some to have anti-Dictatorship feelings! it takes them back to that horrible era!

Yes, that is "attempted justification of illegal meddling by the Army" by definition. Please read what you wrote once again. All it proves is that the Army intentionally destroys the political process and then steps in as the acclaimed savior.

Even if you do not accept that reality, the dire situation that Pakistan finds itself in these days is ample proof that I am correct here. Further, if the Army does not change direction, the whole enterprise will sink, undoubtedly.
