What's new

Now India and pakistan have started a food fight

when did hindus started eating pork?? i mean they hardly eat beef

Don't know about Hindus, muslims or Christians.. But I eat everything that is edible...

Aakash me urdewale sab (except the airplane)..

Char leg wala sab (except the bed)..

River me tairnewale sab.. (except the boats, ships & the submerines)..

That's my motto..

. .
I been to Brick Lane Curry House in NY. My Indian friends from school were talking so much ****, but when it came to the real deal they all chickened out. This is the hottest curry in the world, supposedly and I devoured it with 5 rohtis and a 2 cokes.

Ewww..one meat I hate is Lamb...i tried it two times and both times it was a disaster. Its earthly cousin , goat OTOH is the best.

Pakistani food is quite different from Indian food. We have food like:

Polao (Chicken/Beef)
Peshawari Chapal Kebab
Shami Kebab
Sindhi Biryani
Mutton Kharahi
Beef Karhai
Chicken Kharhai
Chicken Kafraizi
Chicken Tikka
Chicken Shislik
Lahori Fish
Bataray (from Gujranawala)
Murgh Musallam
Keema mirchay
Koftay
Sajji
Lamb Chops
Kata Kat
Nihari
Passanday
Cholay
Maash ki daal
Kali daal
Rajma
Keemay walay naan
Mooli ka paratha
Aloo ka Paratha
Maakai ki roti
Hunter Beef
Pokaora

Note here that most of the stuff is meat based.

To be honest, its not common at all. In North India its almost a taboo food.

Is it?? I mean in Delhi, its available in every single meat shop. Specially the higher end ones like Morning store, Star Bazaar, Le Marche etc etc..

Beef, yes.. But never heard of Pork being called a taboo food ...

Though I cannot eat too much chilly, do you know from where the hottest chilly in the world comes from???

The Bhut Jolokia chili pepper (Assamese: ভূত জলকীয়া bhut jôlôkia; Bangla: নাগা মরিচ naga morich; Manipuri: উমোরোক umorok), as it is commonly known—also known variously by other names (see etymology section below) in its native region, sometimes Naga Jolokia—is a chili pepper previously recognized by Guinness World Records as the hottest pepper in the world. The pepper is typically called the ghost chili or ghost pepper by U.S. media.

The Bhut Jolokia is an interspecific hybrid cultivated in the Assam region of northeastern India and parts of neighbouring Bangladesh.

Bhoot means ghost..
