NOW DRDO TO MAKE Invisible Planes using pre Mahabharata sage Bharadwaj's formulae

That is not the criteria for a patent grant in most countries. You need to show some usefulness of the invention.

He could possibly apply for a trademark and get it. But patents are a different thing entirely.

LOL, says who ? Anything can be patented. Even a new way to dig your nose. Your knowledge about patent is as poor as the rest of "knowledge".

You are wasting your time, trying to elucidate a person who will never admit he is wrong, and would simply go on a rant about secularism or call you names. He is here on his thousandth id. His sole pleasure and purpose in life is to wage idiotic battles on PDF, and claim victory and feel good about himself. You can see from the response of most Indian members, what we think of him.

This is clearly an "I love India more than logic/reasoning" kind of a thread.
Actually only one or two people on the thread are displaying that mentality.

Do you even bother reading your own link ?

Here it what it says,

"...for an invention to be patentable, it must be:
  • Novel (i.e. at least some aspect of it must be new)"

Here is what I said,

"..Anything can be patented. Even a new way to dig your nose."

See how that works ? :disagree:

LOL.. you back again to swallow more of your own words ? ..... hope you don't end up eating Crow.

Learn to be a good Loser :P ........... making snide personal attacks just makes you look Pathetic.

That's rich, coming from you.

Anyway, I guess I have let you enjoy your assumed victory long enough. I hate to break this to you, but I did not have to swallow my words anywhere. I never said that India had not made aircrafts. All I said was "valid question", which does not mean that there is only one answer to the question.

I really don't like these idiotic exchanges and victories, but since you have spent at least six posts on this, I thought I had to bring this up to you. I hope the feeling of victory in the past few hours were satisfying. Now if you'll excuse me, I have a life, although you don't.

To be patentable, an invention must:
-have a technical character (e.g. comprise a product, process or apparatus)
-be new
-involve an inventive step
-be industrially applicable

All four things are required.

A couple of years ago I came up with an ingenious idea. I thought it would work and science behind it should have theoretically. So I looked up how patents are granted etc. I realized I could get a patent in 2-3years. But then searching for patents, I discovered the technique was already patented(granted) a few months ago...Someone beat me to it.

That's how I know how patents work.

It would have be a "valid question" only if India had not made aircraft  ........ other it was just a smug foolish assertion. One which you agreed with. That makes two of you.

Now get back to that life you repeatedly keep claiming about.

I don't know man, I don't come here too often. And these kinds of threads are just too difficult to tolerate. People make everything a matter of national pride.

Do you know yoga was Patented ? .... you find that Industrially applicable ? How about Turmeric ? Don't bother to reply.

Suggested Topics for Research
Before starting any research program, following points have to be taken care of:

  1. Identification of ancient texts/manuscripts known to contain scientific knowledge.
  2. Programs to trace out such texts/manuscripts which are not available today.
Research programs on available texts can then be initiated. Research topics could include the following.

  • Anti Radioactivity: Chances of a nuclear war can never be ruled out, until of course, the earth rids itself of the piles of nuclear weapons. And in this context, research on anti-radioactive device/ radiation assumes paramount importance. Some basic leads are available – they need to be further researched and put together.
  • Vimanas: Research on Vedas and other texts like "Brihad Vimanashastra" for developing special airplanes and space vehicles. This will also involve research on special alloys/ materials/ fuels as described in these texts.
  • To realize Anti-Gravity.
  • The study of human Aura for research in medicine and surgery.
  • To find unconventional and environment friendly Energy/ electricity resources.
  • The study of Yajna, and how to achieve special effects, like health and medicine, reinforcement of ozone layer and removal of atmospheric pollution, through it.

India foils US firm bid to patent turmeric
Rediff On The NeT: Turmeric an Indian discovery, says US patent office

Turmeric (haldi) is an Indian discovery and cannot be patented. So decreed the US Patent and Trademark Office before sweeping six claims on the matter off the table.

However, after protracted techno-legal arguments the US PTO unequivocally rejected all six claims made on August 13, ruling that turmeric's medicinal properties were not patentable.

There is such a thing as non-patentable, as your own example shows.

Of course there is something called non-patentable. You cannot patent breathing or air. Nobody has claimed otherwise. I said "anything" not "Everything". Talk about being obvious.

Both patents, on Yoga and Turmeric was contest and won by India. It came under Traditional Knowledge and Intellectual Property.

This indeed is a laudable endeavor.

India's future is very bright when Modi-ji and his capable ministers implement policies to re-discover ancient Vedic technologies.

Soon, India will learn the secrets of Vedic fusion power, Vedic space travel, Vedic supercomputers, Vedic teleportation and many other advanced ancient technologies.

India will definitely become a superpower by 2020!
