North Korea threatens US with nuclear attack | Daily Mail Online
North Korea issues nuclear warning to U.S. - CNN.com

North Korea claims to have successfully tested a hydrogen bomb - USA Today
America is the "world policeman" right? The "sole superpower"? What would your local policeman do, if a local guy threatened to blow up their house (repeatedly), and then tested a bomb in their backyard?
Nothing, apparently?
Is this another famous "red line" drawn by America, like the one in Syria, the South China sea, the Ukraine, etc. which have all been 100% ignored by everyone?
Instead, America likes to ask a developing country (China) to solve their problems for them. Specifically by cutting off the food/water/electricity to North Korea.
Sorry, no. That's basically America asking us to nuke North Korea, since the casualties would be about the same (mass starvation), not to mention sending millions of North Korean refugees over our border. Which is completely unacceptable for us.
You want us to make their government less unstable, guess what happened to Kim Jong-Un's Uncle who was pro-China? That's right, he was fed to the dogs. Sorry, but they do not listen to us, they never have. We have been asking them to reform their country for decades, to come to the six-party talks, to stop destabilizing the peninsula, etc.
Now tell me, what is the point of the USA being the "sole superpower" and the "global policeman" if they can't actually do anything here, and are asking a developing country like China to do it instead?
It's only a matter of time before North Korea develops decent ICBM technology (for example China developed thermonuclear weapons and ICBM's in the 1960's), it's not exactly cutting edge technology. How long will it be until America decides, oh North Korea has been crossing our "red lines" for a decade now, and threatening to nuke us, perhaps it's time to do something?
Whereas Iraq got invaded and they didn't even have WMD. Now there actually is WMD in North Korea, and they are constantly threatening the US with nuclear attack. What is America's response, apart from the usual nothing?
