Pakistan Army is officially in few Arab states on training and secondments In Saudi Arabia. as far as mercenaries are concerned they are normally picked up from Russian and American ex-special forces pool

please prove me wrong if you can but we never ever had close military ties with Libya
their regime has been very pro-india and during the cold war , they have been involved in Sabotage and terrorist activities. AQ Khan’s nuclear designs proliferation was never endorsed by the army or the government as it was way too risky and against Pakistan’s interests to sell such planes and centrifuges to a country that has close Indian ties.

If you know someone from intelligence community during the 80s then do ask about Libyan activities in Pakistan.
