No one is a minority in India, says RSS

Why Indian Hindus have so much problems with minorities?
This is understandable they have negativity towards Muslims as Muslims ruled Hindus for centuries. And always threatens to rule again.

But again they have problems with Christians, Sikhs, N Easterners. Upper cast Hindus have problems with lower casts
Again they haven't got any better relations with a single neighboring country surrounding India.

So can we come to this conclusion that it is the core problem of Hinduism.
Intolerance and Non coexistence with others, its the teaching?
Bangladeshis are genius no doubt :sarcastic:Including @BDforever :yes4:

Relax Manvan :D

Even if a cat says he is a tiger, he does not become one. :P

The Supreme Court has itself ruled Hindutva as the cultural consciousness of India. NOT THE RSS.

Supreme court is comunal :coffee:

When Rahul gandhi come to power he will correct it and hire all the right judges like altamas kabir.

No. The Japani one. Good quality. Pls take it. :D

Focusing on the unity and similarities between people is always good.

Incorrect. RSS does not WANT anyone to be culturally Hindu. It makes an observation that people have a innate sense of unity. It does not say a word about bad Muslims/Hindus/Christians/etc. :)

Hindus and muslims and christians DO NOT share the same culture. Our lives and ways of living are COMPLETELY different. They DO NOT follow a 'hindu culture'. All that we have achieved is to learn to co-exist. In public places we are civil, in private lives we are COMPLETELY different.

Sorry sire. I also celebrate Christmas, and my fiance celebrates Diwali and Holi (even though she ain't a Hindu or a Christian).

We are all assimilated - we are a mixed culture, based on tolerance and the motto - Sarba Dharma Sambhava. Our lives and ways of living are totally similar. Only difference would probably be the individual prayers. That's in the private realm. That's all. :)

There is no need to underestimate the unity of Indians. But for a few exclusivists, most Indians follow the culture that we used to follow for centuries. Ask @seiko how the bloke ate up all the food for Onam :D

j/k

No, most hindus DO NOT 'celebrate' Christmas or eid we just wish them on those days. Most muslims do not celebrate holi or dussera or Diwali, they just wish us good. You want to live in lala land, that is your choice.

'Unity' does not need a common denominator, all it needs is an Idea of a united India, which is there.

Seriously bro - trust me, there is more integration than in the entire rest of the world. Recently some elements have come to light that have cast shadows on this. But overall, the celebration is universal. Otherwise imagine how come Indian companies give Christmas discounts in India? :D Only for 1% of the population. :)

We may be poor, may indulge in hooliganism a few times. But things are in some ways much better than they appear. There is more reason to be united and focus on similarities than on the differences.

We don't just tolerate the differences, we celebrate them. Think about it sire, we do.

Guynextdoor - This Christmas we may even bring @Imran Khan, if possible. The guy is a tanker. :( No offense bhaijaan.

Integration DOES NOT MEAN you need to have a common denominator. You don't need a common culture, religion, language or identity. A 'state' is a political accomplishment on the basis that India as a state is a good thing, that exists in plenty across all corners. But the differences among the different groups of people have remained. We co-exist very very well and that is more than enough for unity. As for the rest of commonality, that's just humbug. Hell how many Christians even understand the vedas unless the little knowledge about that they get in school and outside? Their lives are the church, their food (most eat non veg) and their secular lives of work and friends. Where the hell does 'hindu culture' come here?

Muslims may start feeling that their culture/identity is being subdued by Hindutavadis. It's best to not try to bundle them up with Hindus. Same goes for Sikhs/Buddhists/Jains etc. Let them be who they are.

Instead of all this talk of 'Hindu state', which is merely a reaction to the Muslim states like Pak, KSA, UAE etc. it would be better if we instead promoted India as a free state, where you are free to do as you please as long as you don't interfere with the right of others.

Are you high on weeds??..I was born in a Malayali Christian family but i didn't find any difference with my Hindu brothers except in religion..We do speak the same language, follow same culture, same food habits etc etc..Religion is ones personal thing...
