NO MILITARY BASE IN INDIAN OCEAN SAYS CHINA

Of course PLAN will eventually need an indian ocean fleet with carriers. We will need to lay pipelines from Gwadar Port to Western China and from Burma to Southern China to bypass the Straits of Malacca. Inevitably, PLAN will need to push back indian navy to its territorial waters to stop indian aggression. So we would likely see carrier-on-carrier combat between india and China toward the end of the decade as China cements its hold in indian ocean.

THE BRAIN FARTS CONTINUE. :cheesy:

Actions speak louder than words mate, first of all I would prefer if china can put its money where its mouth is and execute it. Secondly if war is forced upon us we will confront it and china will have to face consequences of great magnitude in retaliation and from the international community. In the meanwhile keep beating your chest till the end of the decade we will be waiting :coffee:

fine, we will build military base in sri lanka.

and we can destroy the indian base in vietnam, chinese military is vastly superior to the indian ragtag military.

if india thinks they can take on china in a war, then they are repeating the same mistake in 1962.
in 1962 the gap between chinese and indian military was small, now china is vastly superior to india.

 hate to disappoint beijing consensus he was so looking forward to china’s plan damn shame who has the last laugh now. sorry beijing c epic fail yet again.

he sure did actions speak louder than words mate, first of all I would prefer if china can put its money where its mouth is and execute it. Secondly if war is forced upon us we will confront it and china will have to face consequences of great magnitude in retaliation from us and the international community (bearing in mind the US which will be stationed in darwin australia waiting for the chance). i will go with chinese officials "China does not yet have the capabilities to maintain a military base overseas"

No Own Base but Own by other country can be used.

Who believe after 1962 lie.?

Pakistan and Sri Lankan make more sense as supply bases for Chinese navy. Besides, China does not have the ability to project power into Indian Ocean yet. Having a base without the ships would be like building a house that's too far to go live in, utterly pointless.
