Pakistan army is there to safeguard Pakistan from any National security threat including military, territorial , economic, political and social. Yes they will support civilians to rule but will and must remove them should they become a threat to the nation. Pakistan army is not there to support loser parties regain power or help in regime change and it has its own goals and missions with the limited resources that it has. The external threats are huge, we have huge number of corrupts and agents who are continuously trying to undermine Pakistan internally and Pakistan army has done a great job in keeping them in check.

All I can say is the roads, the bridges, the buildings, the tanks, the planes and the border fences that PA built are still standing. Look at what the civilians have built , all corrupt or crumbling to the core.
