Thank you "grande nation" for making this clear! Orban already made his veto against the deal with the turks. Now France also said there will be no concessions with a country that has 0 european values and just recently closed down government critical media "Zaman"

French President Francois Hollande said Saturday that he intended to make "no concessions" to Turkey on human rights or visas in exchange for guarantees to stem the flow of migrants to Europe.

"There cannot be any concessions on the matter of human rights or the criteria for visa liberalisation," Hollande told reporters ahead of the resumption next week of tough negotiations between Ankara and the 28-nation EU."

With this, this deal already is dead. And thats good news for various reasons.

1. Europe protects itself. Its far better to build up defense in european nations like Macedonia, then giving concessions to a country that shares no european values, supports openly ISIS and islamism and tries to start a war with russia.

2. Turkey would hold the keys to europe and could use this whenever it wants to press its will on europe.

3. Creating misery at the macedonian boarder sends out bad image and pictures that lead migrants to stop. So far conditions there have become so miserable, that they start to leave.

4. giving free visas to Turks would be a mistake. With that we would start a new refugee wave. Erdogan makes war against the kurds. If we give free visas to turkey millions of kurds would flood europe.

5. Turkey proved in last weeks that i can´t protect its boarders and is unable to fight the illegals.

I´m glad Hollande made this statement public.

To stop the flow,instead of spending billions of € to a somewhat dictator in the making,we could just chase the boat people from the European waters and send back those that entered the European mainland.
Building walls also showed to be effective to stop the flow of migrants,leaving the "no borders,welcome refugees,peace and lovists" in embarrassment.

Turkey openly supports ISIS? A week ago two of our citizens died as a result of ISIS rockets from Syria. Turkey fights all terrorist groups in our borders indiscriminately. The points i made are simple facts. The deal makes no sense and would hurt europe. I´m glad that Hollande said this public and i must say sometimes i can respect him...

I may not agree with him in many aspects...and many things he does failed...but he gained my respect when he satyed in the stadium during the attacks so no panic breaks out.

Italy is a G7 nation and among the 7 most rich nations on this planet. Our economy is magnitudes greater than yours. With all due erspect for your nation but Turkey is currently waging a civil war in its east while erdogan acts more and more like a dictator.

We know that turkey supported the IS. You have your boarder open for them. You even treat their fighters at your hospitals. You want Assad gone, thats why you supported ISIS. That they bite the hand that feeds them doesn´t mean you didn´t support them.

Europe is a christian continent. Those refugees are muslims. Only god knows how many are terrorists. Many that committed the attack in paris were from "syria". They are plain and simple not compatible to european culture and customs. Thats not racism, thats common sense.

He's talking about Turkish Kurds who may flood us because of the war in eastern Turkey. Italy is by far richer than Turkey,more advanced/developed than Turkey is. They struggled as all European nations because of the crisis,but they are slowly recovering like all of us. Somalia,Afghanistan and some countries like that can be labelled as "countries on the brink of collapse".

This isn't our problem. We have enough problems at home and bringing more people would bring even more problems. We have no money,record debts and we cannot afford extra people. Being against the mass immigration in Europe,isn't racism. The "racism" card doesn't work anymore.

We opened our doors to Spanish refugees in the past,we will open our doors to Italian,German,Belgian or whatever else refugees if war starts in their countries. Just like Italy,Germany etc would do the same for us. We have no reasons to open our borders for people having no similarities to us and coming from thousands of kms away.
