The videos didn’t shows what action from police provoked the accused community's extreme reaction or deliberately that part omitted.
Previously I had seen a video in that the same community at a police checkpoint was enraged and blamed that policeman tried to grasp them from their beard, they took out their kirpans and police was in defensive mod.
IMO the police should also be trained to respect the religious affiliations of people and unfortunately it is always evident that it overlooked in India.

Nihang was carrying drugs in the vehicle.
Five bags of poppy husk mixed with sulpha were recovered by the police. Also the locals say that they acted like gangsters and had forcefully occupied a piece of land on the outskirts of the city.

BTW Vikram Sarabhai is father of ISRO , HJ Bhabha is considered father of Indian Nuclear Program.
