What wonders me is that the Sikh Empire had lost its possessions barely 8 years back ...and still they didnot join in 1857.....mostly because they hated the Bengali,Bihari sepoys of East India company more than their white overlords...Sikhs had an open goal situation in 1857 and still didnot take advantage of it

i have heard that indians had nearly kicked british out in 1857 until these people came to help them.

Sad incident ...
The videos didn’t shows what action from police provoked the accused community's extreme reaction or deliberately that part omitted.
Previously I had seen a video in that the same community at a police checkpoint was enraged and blamed that policeman tried to grasp them from their beard, they took out their kirpans and police was in defensive mod.
IMO the police should also be trained to respect the religious affiliations of people and unfortunately it is always evident that it overlooked in India.
