The building not finish yet without installation of shipbow, but it will be as similar as 40,000ton America Wasp class LHD

IF it's real building the 1st China LHD, soon next days we will see more pix about it. Just wait ...


P.S I read current information showed no doubt now 1st Chia LHD building in ShangHai.

its about the right time frame, a year ago, one of the loud mouth generals briefly said PLAN is going to have 40,000T LHD, which surprised on everyone, as everyone believed that 2 domestic ACs, 8 052Ds and subsequent 055 12,000T destroyers plus 10+ 054As were too much to handle for north and south shipyards```

I heard that the DL shipyard has received the order to build the CV-001A and the second batch of the Type 052D.

While the JN shipyard has received the order to build the CV-002 and the first batch of the Type 055, perhaps even the CVN-003.

I guess the CVN-003 will be China's first flattop nuclear supercarrier with the EMALS, it gonna definitely be named after our great capital Beijing, but its contruction won't be started until 2020.

I think LHD will be build by Shanghai, Dalian take charge of AC, After all, Dalian have the experience of modification of AC!
