Overview of the Russian modernized self-propelled guns Msta-SM2 2S33. In Russia, they are increasing the production of the modernized self-propelled guns "Msta-SM2". The upgraded 2S33 self-propelled guns have significant design differences, a new automated fire control system is installed on it, and the aimed rate of fire has been increased to more than 10 rounds per minute. The use of digital electronic maps significantly accelerated orientation on the ground and increased the speed of deploying the gun in position by 2 times. Thanks to the modernization of the self-propelled guns, the Msta-SM2 can easily be aimed at targets that receive data from the UAV. The new automatic fire control system increased the guidance speed by 1.5 times. The self-propelled guns now have the "simultaneous fire attack" function, when several self-propelled guns fire at once from different positions. SAU 2S33 is equipped with a 2A65 152-mm gun. The howitzer is equipped with a programmable loading system and can fire high-explosive fragmentation, active-rocket jammers, as well as Krasnopol high-precision guided munitions at a distance of up to 29 km. Ammunition ACS 50 shells. ACS "Msta-SM2" develops speed up to 60 km/h and has a cruising range of more than 600 km.

Russian armored vehicle BTR-D with a mining system PKM-1 Wind-M. Footage of the use of a Russian home-made mining machine based on the BTR-D armored vehicle has been published. The mining machine is equipped with the Soviet remote mining complex PKM-1 "Wind-M" developed in the 60s. PKM-1 is designed for the operational installation of anti-personnel and anti-tank minefields at a distance of up to 35 meters with a dispersion ellipse up to 20 meters long and up to 10 meters wide. When an electrical signal is applied to the mine launcher, the expelling charge ignites in the cassette, and the mines are scattered from the armored vehicle. The BYRD was created on the basis of the BMD-1 armored vehicle and was put into service in 1974, we previously talked about it. On the basis of the BTR-D, a whole family of combat vehicles was created.

Review of Russian destroyers of project 956. The Northern Fleet conducted a comprehensive exercise "Kumzha-2023", during which the sailors demonstrated their combat capabilities and tactics. About fifteen surface vessels, submarines and support ships, as well as aircraft and helicopters of the Air Force and Air Defense Army were involved in the maneuvers. The Russian destroyer "Admiral Ushakov" of project 956-A was spotted at the exercises. The first destroyer of the third generation of project 956 was commissioned in 1980, now Russia has 2 ships of this project and 2 are in reserve. The fate of the ships of this project was not easy, steam boilers on ships of this type required the close attention of the crew, they were demanding on the water supplied and failed if the quality of their service was violated. Unfortunately, due to problems in the fleet in the nineties, some ships of this project actually went only 6 years, with a given service life of more than 20 years. It is worth noting that four Project 956 ships are still part of the Chinese fleet, one of them was built in 1994. The armament of the first ships of this project, 130-mm AK-130 naval artillery mounts, 30-mm AK-630 anti-aircraft artillery systems. Eight P-270 Moskit anti-ship missiles. The Uragan air defense system and two RBU-1000 six-barrel rocket launchers, the ship has two double 533-mm torpedo tubes and a Ka-27 helicopter. The ship at one time was not bad enough, had its weak points, but its time is running out. The total displacement of the ship is 7,904 tons, the cruising range is up to 4,500 miles, and the speed is 33 knots. The autonomy of the vessel is 30 days, the crew is 296 people.

Russian Airborne Forces received the Scorpion ammunition system, review. Russian units of the Airborne Forces began to receive a system for uninterrupted supply of the Scorpion machine-gun belt for 550 rounds. The Scorpion ammunition system was developed by FRONT-tactical systems and began to be delivered to the troops on order in 2015. "Scorpion" is equipped with an easy-to-handle sleeve for supplying non-loose metal tape, which allows continuous fire from weapons in any position. The Scorpion ammunition supply system is designed for the 7.62 x54 R cartridge. If requests are received, the flexible sleeve of the ammunition supply system can also be developed to supply 30-mm grenades for the corresponding weapon. The mass of the entire complex is 21.8 kg. It includes: a backpack, a box, a feed sleeve and an ammunition load of 550 rounds. It is possible to use a box for 1000 rounds. Despite all the high marks of specialists, the Ministry of Defense is not yet buying this complex en masse. According to some estimates, in Russia now this complex is used in more than 150 different units of the special operations forces. The price of the complex is about 95 thousand rubles or 1100 dollars.

A new mini missile has been developed for the Russian Pantsir-S1M air defense system. The new missile makes it possible to more effectively shoot down small targets from a record close distance of 500 meters. The development was carried out to fight primarily with massive small-sized targets and, apparently, to reduce the cost of missiles. The Pantsir-S1M missile will reportedly shoot down UAVs and multiple rocket launchers.

Footage of the new Russian fire control complex for troops "Planshet-M-IR" has been published. In this case, the complex is placed in a new armored car "Athlete". The complex was created to automate the fire control of artillery, mortars and MLRS. The system allows the command through the tablet to see the entire situation on the front line and quickly control the fire and the actions of different groups of troops. The complex, through a closed satellite channel, can exchange data, including with UAVs and radars. The task of the complex is to exclude the human factor from the processes of obtaining target designation and carrying out calculations before hitting the target, this speeds up the work of units and increases the accuracy of the strike. "Tablet-M-IR" became the development of the "Tablet-A" complex, which is already being mass-produced and has a lot of positive feedback from the military.

This could be a very important system for the Russians. They might end up getting quality stuff in the end.

Just like in WWII,they eventually managed to turn the tide and make quality weapons. They still kept losing hundreds of thousands of men,but they were trying to get more and more land and big cities before the Yalta Conference.

The space between the armor plates is filled with a filler with anti-cumulative properties. The car body is additionally closed with dynamic protection units, the car is equipped with a radio interference generator and night vision devices. BMR-3MA withstands a mine explosion under the bottom up to 7.5 kg. On board there is a supply of food and water for 5 days, there are also facilities for heating food and boiling water. The car has a compact toilet, a filter-ventilation unit and an air conditioner, in fact, you can live in it for up to 3 days. The armament of the vehicle is a 12.7 mm machine gun. To perform demining work, the machine can be equipped with mine sweeps TMT-S, KMT-7 and KMT-8. BMR-3MA provides sweeping of homing anti-aircraft mines with acoustic and infrared fuses, destruction of wired lines of remote cable control of mine fuses and other work. On the basis of the machine, a robotic demining machine "Prokhod-1" was created, a link to a video about it in the comments to the video. The crew of the car is 2 people and three sappers.
