East watch, Let me tell You one little thing.... India is a Greedy Country, But Why are You calling Burma One?? I still dont understand.,.... Are They blocking your Illegal Immigrants aswell??

We have frequent skirmishes with Burma. Sometimes they start to mobilize huge troops towards the border which is irritating.
Unfortunately some Burmese forces wear Lungi(dunno which force) which exhibits their professionalism therefore not that much of a headache to us.

Bangladesh can better go for the F 22p class frigates from china instead of buying and modifying second hand off-shore patrol vessels like these.

We have already ordered F-22 frigates from China. Delivery is expected soon...and it is understood that the helicopters will be Z-9 that will be coming with them...still we need to wait and see what those will be...

Perhaps, you have not noticed or have forgotten that the Burmese were trying to explore oil/gas in a sea territory only in December 2008 which we regard as ours. Our navy ships forced them to leave the place after about five days without a further escalation.

Even India was not allowed to survey by an Australian ship in a sea that belongs to us. It happened sometime in mid-2009. So, BD needs naval ships to take care of the encroachments by our two neighbours.

Let UN decide about the sea territory of each of the contesting countries. Until then BD must gather its naval strength and repulse any adventurism by others.

Yes, you may be right about your opinion. But, a war is a real thing and you will have to make a physical movement of your forces and take many risks that include also a possible loss in an ensuing battle. We just do not know what will be the result of a battle, with or without destroyers.

You may not need any aircraft carrier in a battle with your very nearest country. Bombers from the nearby IAF bases can do the job without jeopardizing the fate of a AC carrier. AC carrier may be fruitfully utilized to carry the bombers/fighters in a far away place, whereby the AC carrier will act as the home base for the planes.
