The fast breeder reactor BN-800 type nuclear power plant Beloyarskaya is loaded with nuclear fuel. The reactor, the first of its kind, is a more powerful development of the fast breeder reactor BN-600, which in the nuclear power plant in the Urals has been in operation for years.
The loading of nuclear fuel has begun, the Russian nuclear power plant operators RosEnergoAtom announced on Sunday with RIA Novosti. According to the director of the nuclear power plants Beloyarskaya Mikhail Bakanow the new reactor will be ramped after extensive tests nor 2014.
