Today in Donetsk prime minister of DPR A.Boroday and head of Republican Assembly of LPR A.Karyakin signed an agreement establishing the state Novorossia.
The new state, is expected to include other republics of Ukraine, whose liberation from the power of Kiev junta planned in the future.
It is a glorious day for all Russian people!

"Officially established" may be a little premature, from a factual standpoint.

The same will happe in the US. There will be civil war. The country will break up into several republics because there is nothing that unifies them except the dollar. Once that is gone. The poor will turn on the rich and there will be war. Good luck with that.

I assume you are just as enthusiastic when the Urdu speaking Muslim majority areas in India rise up and fight to join Pakistan, yes?

...and yet, in my over half century of life as an American, I have never lived in a United States that has been more socially at peace than it is at this time. I don't know how old you are or what your background is, but compared to my life growing up in the chaos and strife of the 1960's and 70's, the America of today has never been more unified and socially at peace. No more riots, nor more hippies in the streets, no more armoured personnel carriers in our cites, no more soldiers on our college campuses, violent crime down to about a third of what it was when I was in high school, the violence over race, Vietnam, social division...now all gone. The America you describe as unified only, "by the dollar", is also one that I would not recognise. Ironically, most anti-American posters here usually go on and on about how Americans are far too nationalistic! Did you not get that memo? Only the dollar? Not hardly.

I suggest you try watching a nice Memorial Day program tomorrow and see for yourself. :usflag:

  • Heavy fighting around Slavyansk increasing in tempo for the last 3 hours. Slavyansk under assault from 7 areas. Artillery is being used, at least one apartment building is burning in one of the outlying towns under assault.
  • Self propelled arty, Msta-S reported, 15.2 cm howitzer type, are on the move with all their support echelons. Tanks are on the move, some heading for Slavyansk, some Donetsk.
  • Grad batteries are on the move, direction unknown.
  • Numerous BTR's are on the move, mostly right sector troops on them.
  • At least one Sukhoi ID'd in a bomb and rocket attack.
  • Mi24's were supporting two of the Slavyansk attacks until dark.
  • Looks like the full assault. Going to be a long night.
  • The man in this photo is no Ukrainian soldier although photoed in Donetsk Oblast. BTR is obviously Afghan or Iraq service with the metal screens all around. Only seen the one, photo is from RT of all places with no comment, BTR has been seen in several videos as has that one soldier.
  • Two foreign journalists got killed by arty, their Russian translator, a women, almost dead and their driver badly wounded. The Video was up on YouTube and gone in minutes. Near Slavyansk.
  • Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics have declared the creation of Novorossiya union.
  • 145 delegates from the Odessa, Nikolaev, Dnepropetrovsk, Zaporozhye, Kharkov, Kherson, Donetsk and Lugansk Regions have announced the creation of a pro-federalization Popular Front which now unites all of the Ukrainian regions East of the Dniepr river and on the Black Sea coast.

That would be a formality. The prime minister and the supreme commander of New Russia are Russians from Moscow.

New Russia is bigger than the Netherlands and has 6 times the population of Chechnya. Tens of thousands of Russian militants are pouring in. Tens of thousands of Ukrainian soldiers would be killed if they do not leave.

Is there an arms industry in New Russia?

Keep telling yourself that. Your oblivioisnes is of no concern to me. the end will be that much more painful.

New Russia is under attack!

(Reuters) - Ukraine launched air strikes and a paratrooper assault against pro-Russian rebels who seized an airport on Monday, as its newly elected leader rejected any talks with "terrorists" and said a robust military campaign in the east should be able to put down a separatist revolt in "a matter of hours".

The government said its jets had strafed the area with warning shots and then struck a location where rebels were concentrated, scattering the fighters before paratroops were flown in to face them.
