Brigadier General Amir Hatami has been officially submitted to Majlis by Rouhani as the next Minister of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics.

Hatami comes from Army Ground Force he has been deputy Minister of Defense for four years, and if approved he will be the first minister from Army since the merger of Ministry of Defense and Ministry of Sepah and formation of the current Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics.

He has submitted his resume, plans, goals and priorities to Majlis.

My bet is that irgc and army will be put under the same umbrella. The re-organization will mostly be on army, hence the choice of one of their own to do the cleaning.
