Reportedly PAF is going to raise a new combat squadron to be equipped with the JF-17 Thunder Multi Role aircraft. The new unit is said to be 28 TFS which will also be part of the CCS.

Any information on which block this will be? If it's the latest serial numbers 32- 50 rolling out of PAC this year, and they are going to CCS, then I expect the best of the very best piloting these killer birds. TFS stands for Tactical Fighter Squadron?

Also, they aren't replacing the remaining F-7s and Mirages? I wonder why?

We know there are already JF-17s assigned to CCS, maybe that unit is being given an independent designation or maybe this has something to do with the new ACES set up.
