Its very good to see Iraqi muslim own army but wanna mention that Pakistan's army is the most Powerful and largest force in ISLAMIC WORLD as a Muslim army and i believe, In the entire world there is no army that can beat Pakistan's Army

This is not IRaq Army. ... its another Wing of US military like Saudia Arabia forces Egypt and now Iraq.... !

I hope they really standardise their small arms inventory.Lately they've been buying plethora of weapons from the US, Bulgaria and Serbia and they already have small arms donated from the coalition countries and the ones they had before the invasion.

The AR-15's were definitely not a good choice for the Iraqi's considering what the US soldiers have to say about the M16/M4 jamming in dust and dirt, They would be better of with Serbian M21's or the older M70's and AKM's.Even if the do choose the M16/M4 as their standard assault rifle/carbine they should license produce M70's or AK's like they did in the Al-Qadissiya facilities.

Hope they standardise the same small arms as used by the US Army along with Russian Combloc based small arms like AKM, PKM, SVD and the DshK or NSV.
