hey i was just looking through some SSG-N footage and maybe you referring to the gear looking similar in MARCOs room clearance drills in this videa(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zvY0FStciV4) from 6.00- but actually comparing the two there are some key differences and I am even more convinced guys in my vid are MARCOs.

Hey, about possibly being SSG-N, I'd say unlikely as this appears to be a vid shot by MARCOs themselves for internal distribution purely and these guys are too proud (as they should be) to have clips of any other SOF in their vid- especially SSG-N. And btw they aren't going to wear their patches all the time.Also regarding their gear in room clearance ops, check out the blink of IA PARA (SF) go to 21.40- and see that their gear is pretty similar to the guys in the vid.

I have no doubt every second of the footage is of IN MARCOs, it really isn't a massive jump, we've seen all this gear over time with MARCOs just not in action like this.

Yes,I have read that(upgradation of the Ajeya's).So,the T-90's with us also have the problems that were on the T-72's!!
I completely agree with your views and IMO that Arjun has given a lease of life to the IA's technicians as the German/Indian engines are far more refined and maintainence friendly compared to the old Russian ones!
@point3-So,the strike corps of the IA will be forced to retreat if either Pak or China acquire and field portable ATGM's with top attack capabilities ala the Javelin!So both the Pakistan army planners and PLA planners will/can destroy the offensive capabilities of the IA mechanized infantry if they have sufficient numbers of ATGM's with their SF personnel!Why is then there a hesitation to induct and field Arjuns in the strike corps package as they are immune to these real threats?!

Any reasonable explanations as to why we go for downgraded variants with absolutely no after sales support?
Another question-Aren't the T-72's(At least some of them) upgraded by Israeli's?Do these upgraded ones also have inferior sensors on board compared to the T-72A's?Also,how is the net centric warfare capabilities of our tanks.The T-72's,according to some military experts have inferior safety for the stored ammo behind the navigator's seats,Have these been resolved in the T-90's or is this an inherent problem?
