New Hezbollah Chief of Staff Declares Truce with Israel

Mustafa Mughniyeh, who replaced Hezbollah’s slain Chief of Staff Mustafa Badreddine, has reportedly declared that Israel, at least for now, is no longer considered the enemy of the Shiite organization. According to cairoportal.com, citing a source they say is familiar with Hezbollah’s internal affairs, Mughniyeh is planning to carry out a major attack against the Saudis.

The new Hezbollah military chief, whose father was legendary terrorist Imad Mughniyeh—killed in 2008 in a car bomb blast, reportedly said that “while my father and uncle (Badreddine) failed to kill the Emir of Kuwait, I will not fail to kill the king of Wahabia (a reference to the Wahabi faith, Saudi Arabia’s state religion, which is the most viciously anti-Shiite) and cut off the hand of anyone who wishes to turn Syria Wahabi.”

Speaking before a cadre of Hezbollah’s top command, Mughniyeh then declared that Israel is a friend and a strategic ally opposite the Saudi enemy, and therefore, from this day on, there is no more war against Israel.

He also noted that Israel was the only country that liberated the Shiites in south Lebanon from the Palestinian conquest in 1982. The PLO, which had been driven out of Jordan a decade earlier, created an independent state in everything but a name in south Lebanon, and used it as a base from which to harass Israel—leading to the first Lebanon war.

Iran orders Hezbollah to target Saudi Arabia

BEIRUT — The military wing of the Lebanese movement Hezbollah has been instructed by Iran to suspend operations against Israel and to target Saudi Arabia instead, Middle East Eye has revealed.

According to well informed sources in Lebanon, the order was conveyed in person by Qasim Soleimani, the head of the Quds Force of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard (IRGC).

Soleimani also named successor to Mustafa Badreddine, who was killed in Syria. His two deputies were also named.

Badreddine’s replacement is Fuad Shukr, whose nom de guerre is Al-Hajj Mohsen, the sources told MEE.

According to the MEE sources, the instruction Iran gave was to initiate actions against Saudi Arabia before the beginning of Haj in September.

Shukr’s task is to co-ordinate military actions with an Iraqi Shiite paramilitary group Asa’ib Ahl Al-Haq, and a Shiite group in Bahrain Saraya Al-Mukhtar.

Hezbollah operatives have been used in the past in the Gulf. A member of the Al-Dawa militant group, Badreddine was arrested along with 17 others after the truck bombings of the US and French embassies in Kuwait City in 1983. In 1985 Badreddine was also reportedly involved in a failed assassination attempt of the Kuwaiti emir.

Amed Ibrahim Al-Mughassil, a member of Hezbollah who allegedly masterminded the attack on the US military barracks in Al-Khobar in 1996, was captured last year after a 20-year manhunt.

that's a dignified peace , doesn't matter who wins the peacing race , whether israel first stops dropping american donated bombs on gaza and lebanon or they stop firing rockets into israel (or ambushing across the border and kidnapping israeli soldiers as hezbollah does ) ; what matters is that they don't live with the yolk the west bank palestinians have around their neck , soon the west bankies too are gonna envy them and join their islamic-iranian path of resistance , that's why we call them resistance in iran and not khizballa , in the end even the israelis are gonna love us for the dignified peace we are giving them and setting the israeli border too , like one female member here

The only thing that is true is Israel being the least of concern to Hezbollah at this point. However, the statements by this supposed chief seem to be fabricated. And Hezbollah won't setup anything in Saudi Arabia, Iran nor Hezbollah interested in that, they will just stick to rhetoric.
